Creating media buzz, notoriety, and calling attention for deserving prospects that are is a selfless joy I partake in. That said, independent of any agenda, here are some player's tapes that I really enjoyed and are simply and outright good football players.

Having scouted, covered, and coached against [player_tooltip player_id='723582' first='Brayden' last='Kelly'] over the last three seasons, I can honestly say that I am a fan of this technically sound cornerback. First are foremost, Kelly plays the hands and breaks up passes this way like few high school prospects in the state. In order to do this, he has been seen on film playing trail technique, allowing himself room to accelerate, play the hands, and still be in the position all at the same time. In run Kelly does a nice job of fighting along the perimeter forcing ball carriers back to his help; however, I want to see him improve tackling with the correct head leverage to totally eliminate the sideline as an option. Offensively he can manipulate his speed to lull defenders to speed while also gaining depth on his routes to find openings. Kelly has even been used as a running back at times to create mismatches on linebackers, hitting double moves. I do not know how teams continue to sleep on him.

https://twitter.com/braydenkelly80/status/1806387953704341766

Following the trend of defensive backs that I liked, [player_tooltip player_id='910558' first='Carson' last='Bowman'] was a safety that exudes confidence with his calm, fluid, and tight back pedal - which allows him to break very nicely on the ball. A very good tackler, Bowman goes in low, thorough the hip, wraps up tight, and rolls to his leverage. He plays the alley very nicely on jets and forces immediate cutbacks. In coverage he flips his hips nicely. As an offensive weapon he can track the ball over his shoulder nicely and adjust to the tip drill when it is in application. Although he can stand to use his hands more when catching, he will extend his arms when needed and lowers his hips when breaking his route's step. Although he may not light it up, he is a very good ball player who only positively impacts his team.

https://twitter.com/Carson_Bowman10/status/1664052920650723329

After our rankings were complete I was surprised [player_tooltip player_id='874129' first='Christian' last='Soltis'] has not higher up in other national media rankings, because he has some impressive film. This film, however, rather than being on one tape, was across four different ones. Soltis breaks on the ball extremely well and is excellent when squaring up to tackle. His tackle is low, wraps up, and drives his legs. The cornerback works the cover 3 skate technique very nicely, reacting and breaking on the ball really well from this posture as well. He high points with his hands and uses his size to gain positioning when fighting for the ball. Soltis sets a very hard edge on toss and sees reach blocks very well when he is lined up at safety. Disciplined, he will not abandon his drop until the quarterback has made a clear declaration to run. If the receiver does get their hands on the ball first, Soltis will violently play the ball to break up the pass.

https://twitter.com/Christian_Troy3/status/1806448603554050468

[player_tooltip player_id='1021614' first='Collin' last='Sabric'] is an interesting prospect. I admit: on film he does not really "excite" me as a quarterback; however, he is very solid in a number of ways and does a number of things very well. First, on film he has shown a variety of throw depths and routes. Sabric is particularly strong at middle and deep passes. He will use a pump fake to get defenders air born when he tucks it and runs. Like a true gutsy field general, Sabric is willing to get leveled to get off a throw. Lastly, Sabric is very good make correct reads with binding concepts (i/e: smash, flood, levels). He comes across as a smart, instinctual player who has some moxie to him.

https://twitter.com/collinsabric/status/1799916412556751026

[player_tooltip player_id='736703' first='Corey' last='Smith'] may not have ranked out as a top linebacker, but there are more than enough redeeming qualities to his game. Smith has the ability to make plays both over the top and underneath blockers in the run game. He takes particularly good angles near the goal line, putting the pressure on the offense. In pass protection he does a good job getting to his spot at the appropriate depth, sinking, and then getting his head on a swivel. Lastly, he breaks on the ball when it is thrown, reacting to passes well when covering.

https://twitter.com/smithcorey88/status/1783630909222064592

It remains to be seen how interim Head Coach Jay Scott of the Union Farmers may-or-may-not alter his predecessor's power spread offense; however, it would behoove him to keep [player_tooltip player_id='1182684' first='Dallas' last='Tullis'] in the mix. One of the better sniffers in the class of 2025, Tullis is an absolute wrecking ball that barrels to his assignment full speed ahead - routinely flattening them in the process. He does his by constantly driving his legs. Tullis lead blocks with great leverage, often getting his hands inside. He reminds me in some ways of Lorenzo Neal and the power, force, and ferocity he led blocked with. Simply put, Tullis is a nasty, violent SOB who wants to finish his blocks by knocking your head off.

https://twitter.com/DallasTullisFB/status/1805669568951509222
