Carter's stock rose significant due to his performance at the NDSU prospect camp this summer in which we had a front row seat to his rise. He was by far one of the top testers amongst the defensive line group and when you loop in what his 6'4 215 pound frame looks like you can see why the Bison pulled the trigger on a camp offer in which the hometown kid committed to on the spot. Moving up 50+ spots, Carter shows off not only excellent vision but excellent range for his frame in which I could see the Bison seeing Carter as a hybrid between defensive end and outside linebacker while he grows out his frame in Fargo. He also has as you would expect very long strides which was a striking chord for in watching him at NDSU this summer. Carter checks in at #10 overall and DL2 in the 2025 North Dakota class.

I have had numerous college coaches tell me that Kalen is probably the best route-runner in this North Dakota 2023 and that shows to be truth in my eyes. The way Kalen gets seperation on tape certainly passed my eye test as he might not be the fastest WR in this class, but his great hands and consistent route-running flash out on tape. We always talk about guys that play bigger than there measurables and that is certainly true with Kalen as he plays with a fearless demeanor that is not afraid of bigger corners due to his football IQ. Kalen moves up just inside 20 spots at our WR3 in the 2025 class in ND.

Another 2025 wide receiver that rose up my board this summer is West Fargo Sheyenne's [player_tooltip player_id='1113071' first='Caleb' last='Haas']. The instinct that Caleb grew this summer with his route-running was eye-catching especially at the USF Prospect Camp. I could tell from 2023 this summer that Caleb has advanced with his vision getting yards after the catch and liked how much smoother he had become with position angles with his pass-catching to get upfield faster as a wide receiver that will be a threat for the Mustangs even more over the middle of the field and is one that I have heard from college coaches is close to his first offer.

Bryce is one the bigger stockrisers on this list amongst North Dakota 2025 prospects, as a prospect that is an efficient athlete on both sides of the ball. He stood out on tape with his ball-tracking ability and the athleticism he possessed after a turnover is even better, as on clip two of his junior tape you could blink and totally miss in high traffic areas that he was still getting upfield. Offensively, Bryce not only shows off great hands, he is a great blocker without the ball which it has been a while since I have been intrigued by a Dakotas wide receiver for their blocking. Love this kid's twitchy change of direction with the ball coming his way, as he got in front of plenty of pass-catcher in the 2023 season with interceptions and pass break ups due to his COD. Bryce to me, is a sleeper in this class as one that projects as a defensive back at the next level.

Dylan is another prospect that moved up double-digit spots from our last rankings update as he put together a great summer on the camp trail. He has one of the most fiery first steps amongst defensive tackles in the state of North Dakota. Playing on both sides of trenches, Dylan also consistently grades well from my eval with his pad-level getting into the backfield and certainly has powerful hands to go with it. Although he has a handful of NSIC offers, I am surprised the rest of the conference hasn't caught wind of him yet as if you were to ask me last summer, I would have thought have would have even been an FCS prospect showing that the NSIC could get a steal in whoever lands Dylan.

Hunter is another 2025 athlete on our radar that saw his stock rise during this rankings update in what is a loaded class of athletes. The position flexibility casts wide for Hunter in my eyes, as his physicality points him as a free safety at the next level, but I could also see him in the linebacker room somewhere. Offensively, Hunter is a wide receiver positioned as a tight end with great hands and constantly is making catches in high traffic areas on tape. I love this young man's upside he can show off during his upcoming senior season for the powerhouse Kindred Vikings.

Getting a more in-depth live eval of [player_tooltip player_id='1091092' first='CL' last='Weinberger'] this summer certainly is why he is a stockriser in this group of 2025 prospects. The growth CL has made with his hands is the biggest reason why he is up 20+ spots from our last 2025 update as he excellent in live reps and you could tell working with college coaches, he took full advantage to their teachings with his attention to detail in Minot. The tape from the 2023 season doesn't even due to the justice to what I saw this summer as CL has gotten more agile at the point of attack and keeps a low base with his pad-level. CL is one that I expect to play at the next-level and have an excellent senior season.

Samuel is another trenches prospect that did his damage as a stockriser during camp season. Samuel showed some of the best balance I saw from a footwork perspective at the NDSU prospect camp which was a massive group of offensive linemen too. His first step too that I watched was centered into the chest of his blockers at the point of attack and that one of a handful of reps I saw that great consistency from Sam. The upside with Sam's angle blocking also struck a chord with his strength as the 6'3 300 pound center will be one to watch this fall to see even more how he grew his stock this summer.

Another athlete that climbed up our rankings is Des Lacs-Burlington's [player_tooltip player_id='356876' first='Jacob' last='Schaefer']. Just about anywhere you line Jacob up on the field he will show you why he is a swiss army knife. He shows off great fluidity with his speed, great hands and is a prospect that is always looking for more upfield with yards after contact quickly. Jacob has the suddenness with his burst to not only have great position angles but makes high traffic areas look wide with how well-versed his athleticism is with the football in his hands. I could certainly see this young man just up the road at Minot State, as I like the fit a ton with that D2 offer he has from the Beavers.

Another Minot State commit that saw a rise this summer was [player_tooltip player_id='802399' first='Samuel' last='Benson'] from Shiloh Christian. Talk about dominance in the offensive trenches, as Samuel a road-grader consistently into the second level with his offensive tape that just shows you how gifted he is with his strength and control. Even though Samuel has pure dominance at the point of attack, the balance of his footwork almost always maitains great control. I also LOVE the upside he has in the defensive trenches as I feel you see more of Samuel's motor around the edges on tape. Certainly another one the Beavers should be excited to get to Minot.

Our linebacker MVP from the UND Flagship Camp was New Salem-Almont 2025 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='725868' first='Wyatt' last='Kuhn'] as yet another prospect that the live-evaluation was well-noted in our 2025 rankings update as our new LB1 in the 2025 class. The length that I watched out of Wyatt's lower body to the ball certainly caught my attention, as even from our last-live eval you can tell his instincts have just continued to grow especially with his pursuit angles. Wyatt also gotten more fiery with his hands with his sheds and the vision this young man has is fun to watch in-person. Wyatt is the definition of a small town hidden gem that the Fighting Hawks should be fired up to watch develop over the coming years.

Owen is a 2025 linebacker that I had to move up due to his constantly great camp performances he put together this summer, as Owen comes in as our LB4 in the 2025 class. . At the muliple camps I have caught him at he has put up more fitting testing numbers you want to see for the linebacker position at the Division II and NAIA levels. Owen is one of those linebackers that played with another gear in the reps I got to watch in Grand Forks and Fargo as he tracks the ball persistently from sideline to sideline with one of most massive motors amongst linebackers in this 2025 North Dakota class. I felt he has grown his stock this summer (and showed it at UND) with his technique of getting off blocks not only quicker but with more finesse. This young man has to be an early fall offer in my eyes at the scholarship level.
