<p>Prep Redzone North Carolina enjoyed attending a 14-team 7-on-7 Tournament held recently at Winston-Salem State University. There were a lot of standout players on both sides of the ball - for this article, we will focus on the offensive standout players. Prep Redzone NC spoke with several coaches to get feedback on specific players featured in this article. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='340230' first='Meek' last='Slydell'] - QB - Jr - Asheville - The Class of 2026 prospect was very efficient and smooth in the pocket all day for the championship-winning Cougars. Meek appears to have some college interest from multiple schools in the Carolinas. I was impressed with his accuracy in throwing the football and moving to find receivers on multiple occasions. </p>

<p><br>Kayden Ray - WR - Jr - Asheville - A Class of 2026 slot wide receiver, Ray was very elusive and smooth on crossing routes showing excellent hands. I thought Ray also had some very good agility to work himself open through both zone and man coverage. </p>

<p><br>Kyheem Plummer - RB/LB - Sr - Asheville - At 5'11 and 185 pounds, the Class of 2025 prospect had 783 all-purpose yards last season and 10 touchdowns. Has an offer from UVA-Wise College. Kyheem also promotes a 4.52 40-yard dash time on his Twitter profile. </p>

<p><br>[player_tooltip player_id='947146' first='Josh' last='Ellis'] - RB/WR - Asheville - Josh is a Class of 2025 prospect at 5'7 165 pounds who boasts a 4.4 timed 40-yard dash on his Twitter profile. A quick look at his highlights shows that Josh can run through tackles to go along with his speed. Josh can also catch the ball well out of the backfield and be dangerous in open space. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='286177' first='DeAndre' last='Nance'] QB/FS - 71st - The 6'3 Class of 2025 dual-threat quarterback was a big reason why the Falcons were in the State Championship game last season. He has offers from Alabama A&M, Charlotte, Army, Navy, Alabama State, and North Carolina A&T. Nance rushed for 1691 yards and 38 touchdowns last season.</p>

<p><br>Shon Pone RB/WR - 71st - The Class of 2027 prospect at 6'0 and 180 pounds is a three-sport athlete with a 3.5 GPA. He lists a 4.49-timed 40-yard dash on his Twitter profile, definitely a playmaker. As a freshman, Pone rushed for 522 yards and 8 touchdowns in an offense that had 3 1,000-yard rushers. One to watch.</p>

<p><br>[player_tooltip player_id='1346327' first='Jayson' last='Franklin'] RB - 71st - At 5'11 and 205 pounds, Jayson also plays linebacker for the Falcons. Jayson has offers from several schools including Connecticut, Harvard, Memphis, Dartmouth, South Carolina, Tuskegee, Buffalo, and Ole Miss. The Class of 2026 prospect rushed for 1460 yards and 15 touchdowns last season. </p>

<p><br>Jytavius Whitted Wr - 71st - The Class of 2025 prospect stands at 5'9 and 175 pounds. Last year he was an important piece of the Falcons offense with 28 catches for 428 yards and 3 touchdowns in a run-heavy offensive attack. </p>

<p>Jonquarius Moody - 2027 ATH - Harding - Jonquarius continues to make a name for himself, after standing out at the Johnson C. Smith University camp and winning the fastest man award for skill players, Moody followed up by continuing to develop at quarterback for the Rams. </p>

<p><br>Daniel Carter - 2028 WR - Harding - The freshman at 6'1 and 175 pounds had a good camp at Johnson C. Smith and made some nice plays at this tournament. Displaying good hands and speed in open space, it will be fun to see him continue to develop. </p>

<p><br>[player_tooltip player_id='1788171' first='Jaquavion' last='Gaffney'] - 2027 ATH - Harding - The 6'3 Class of 2027 prospect can play some quarterback and also has some athletic ability to play in space at wide receiver. Gaffney has added weight to his frame after a good offseason in the weight room. </p>

<p>Jeremiah Young - WR/FS - Atkins - The Class of 2025 prospect at 6'0 and 170 pounds plays both sides of the ball for Atkins. From an offensive perspective, Jeremiah does a good job of running routes and shows good hands to catch the football consistently to keep the chains moving. <br><br>James Singletary - QB - Atkins - The 6'3 Class of 2026 prospect will be one to keep your eyes on this upcoming season. James got his feet wet last season and flashed some good moments on his highlight film. He has the tools to become a very good quarterback soon. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1368095' first='Joell' last='Wooten'] - WR - Hickory Ridge - The 6'3 185-pound Class of 2026 prospect showed some good route running throughout the tournament along with some strong hands pulling in the football consistently for his team all day long. <br><br>Nathan Futch - QB - Hickory Ridge - From the last time I saw him live, Nathan is developing exponentially. He is getting more comfortable in delivering the football on time and on target, and his ball placement is getting into very good territory. </p>

<p>Luke Collins QB - Starmount - The Class of 2025 prospect can play a host of positions for Starmount including Wide Receiver, Punter, and help out on defense. At 6'0 and 190 pounds, Luke shows some strong dual-threat ability and does well throwing on the run and improvising when his first read is not open per his highlight film. <br><br>Letavian Adams WR - Starmount - The Class of 2025 receiver stands at 5'7 and 160 pounds - which projects to be a slot receiver on the next level. A quick look at Letavian's highlight film shows that Letavian can also play some corner and has excellent ball skills. I also like Letavian's overall speed and competitive spirit. Appears to be a leader on the field. <br><br>Colton Allen WR - Starmount - At 6'3 and 200 pounds, Colton was named an All-Conference player last season. The Class of 2025 prospect does a good job of using his height and high-pointing the football in jump ball situations. Colton can also play some quarterback as a dual-threat player and shows good speed in the open field. </p>

<p>QB Ethan Bailey - Parkland - The Class of 2026 prospect stands at 6'0 tall. It is impressive that he lists a 4.3 GPA on his Twitter profile, you always want a smart player at the quarterback spot! Moving up to varsity this season, Ethan does a good job of getting the ball out on time and making smart, quick decisions when in the pocket. <br><br>WR Brock Jackson - Parkland - At 5'11 and 165 pounds, the Class of 2025 prospect has some interesting superlatives. He lists a 4.63 40-yard dash time on his Hudl highlights and a 3.6 GPA. His highlights show that Brock can also play corner. As a receiver, Brock shows to be a big play threat in space with excellent speed and run-after-the-catch ability. Brock is also a multi-sport athlete. <br><br>WR Kiwion Covert - Parkland - Kiwion is an intriguing Class of 2025 prospect. At 6'3, Kiwion can play both wide receiver and defensive back for the Mustangs. Per his highlight film, Kiwion is a physical player who has some strong physical traits - good long speed, strong hands, and a good vertical leap ability. <br><br></p>
