The last weekend in July has brought with it a busy recruiting period for prospects around the Natural State. We are going to highlight several players that have had a busy weekend on the recruiting front. Recruiting visits and scholarship offers take center stage in today's article. Here are some prospects to watch out for this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='918048' first='Tucker' last='Young']-Offensive Line-Hot Springs Lakeside-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='918048' first='Tucker' last='Young'] is an offensive lineman that can dominate opposing defenders in one-on-one situations. He has no problem clearing rushing lanes for his running backs. Young has the speed to get out front on screens and draws as well. Over the weekend, Young had the opportunity to visit the Arkansas Razorbacks. He placed his commitment with the Razorbacks, and he has the potential to be an offensive lineman that sees playing time on Saturdays in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='822556' first='Jordon' last='Moore-Payne']-Quarterback-Quitman-2026

It was a busy weekend for the Lyon College football staff this weekend as well. [player_tooltip player_id='822556' first='Jordon' last='Moore-Payne'] paid a visit to Lyon College over the weekend. [player_tooltip player_id='822556' first='Jordon' last='Moore-Payne'] is a signal caller that has no trouble extending the play in and out of the pocket. He does a good job of keeping his eyes downfield. Moore-Payne can pick an opposing defense apart. He reads the opposing defense well and knows when to use his legs to pick up yards on the ground. I expect an impressive season from the Quitman signal caller this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='424570' first='Trevion' last='Greer']-Athlete-Riverview-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='424570' first='Trevion' last='Greer'] is one of the most versatile prospects in the class of 2026. Greer has the ability to linJe up all over the field this season for Riverview. Last season, Greer earned all-conference honors at the running back position for the Raiders. Greer rushed for almost 800 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2023. He is setting the stage for a strong 2024 football season. Greer spent the weekend at Arkansas State. Greer had a strong showing at the Arkansas State. I look for him continuing the impressive showings over the course of the season.

Cole Bentz-Quarterback-Batesville-2026

The Batesville quarterback is a prospect that can hurt opposing defenses with his arm or his legs. Bentz has the accuracy to keep opposing defensive secondaries honest. He is not afraid to test the opposing secondary with a deep throw. Over the past few days, Bentz had strong showings at the Arkansas State camp as well as the Lyon College camp. Bentz earned a scholarship offer from Lyon College to cap off an impressive weekend for the Batesville signal caller.

[player_tooltip player_id='1353115' first='Jackson' last='Edwards']-Defensive Back-Beebe-2025

[player_tooltip player_id='1353115' first='Jackson' last='Edwards'] does a great job of patrolling the secondary for Beebe. He plays the ball well in the air and is not shy about making a play on the football. Edwards has the speed to move up and help plug up the rushing lane. He can completely disrupt the opposition's passing attack. Edwards uses his skills from wide receiver to make plays on the football in the secondary. Edwards had an impressive showing at Lyon College over the weekend. He is a player to watch out for this upcoming season.
