26.[player_tooltip player_id='406770' first='Trevin' last='Laird'] 6-2 205 Safety/ ATH Tigard

UPDATE: One of the fastest rising athletes in Oregon. Laird can play multiple spots on the defensive side of the ball and will likely be one of the best in the TRL offensively. I could see him landing a few FCS offers at some point.

Laird jumped 30+ spots and is one of the fastest rising athletes in the state. His combination of size and speed speak to his 73 tackles, 7.5 TFL's, 3 INTs, and 7 PBU's from last season.

27.[player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'] 6-0 185 QB Nelson

UPDATE: Durdahl will be a 4-year starter for a team that has a shot this coming season. He is very capable of going out and proving himself and having a 1st team all-state year.

Size is the big question mark. The talent is there, and he continues to get better under one of the top QB coaches anywhere in Alex Brink.

Nelson had one of the most impressive seasons of any 6A school in Oregon, finishing 8-3, largely because of Durdahl. On the year he passed for 2000+ yards and 21 TDs/6 INTs. He has the ability to play a high level of collegiate ball. This off season will be telling.

28.[player_tooltip player_id='285871' first='Kaden' last='Martirano'] 6-2 205 QB West Albany

UPDATE: From a talent standpoint there aren't too many questions as the kid can play. That said as the move to West Albany for his senior year is surprising.

West Salem coach Shawn Stanley is one of the best ever to rep the state, coaching multiple D1 QB's. We will find out shortly if Martirano is the real deal.

Martirano came back from injury nicely, earning 1st team all-league honors. Look for the Titans to be a conference title favorite next season, after dropping the hammer on Sheldon 42-21 this past season.

29.[player_tooltip player_id='904355' first='Rocco' last='Graziano'] 6-2 205 K/WR Sheldon

UPDATE: Graziano has a chance to continue and climb this list as one of the best kickers anywhere for his class. Universities have to like the fact he has legit size and is a super talented overall athlete.

Graziano will likely have numerous options at the D1 level as a kicker. His overall athleticism and impressive size is just a bonus.

One of the top kickers in the West. Graziano's overall athleticism makes him an appealing recruit, racking up 1st team all-league honors at WR. He hit on 8/9 field goals while making 36 of 36 extra points attempts.

30.[player_tooltip player_id='406767' first='Wyatt' last='Smiley'] 6-4 180 WR West Linn

UPDATE: Smiley did well as part of Team Lillard on the 7v7 circuit. Once again, the Lions spread the ball around so the stats might not accurately reflect how good he is.

You have to like the size and experience. That said, as the Lions are loaded at every position with the ball typically being spread around and making the stats somewhat deceptive.

Look for Smiley to have a 1st team all conference and potentially 1st team all state season next year, after earning honorable mention all TRL honors the last two seasons. He will create matchup problems all over the place.

31.[player_tooltip player_id='511859' first='Madden' last='Tanuvasa'] 6-0 170 DB Mountainside

UPDATE: Most are familiar with the name, coming from an impressive family with D1 genes. A lot of eyes will be on him and a top 6A Mountainside program.

The Mavericks should rank among the state's top 6A teams putting the spotlight on kids like Tanuvasa with D1 potential.

The 1st team all-Metro DB comes from a super talented family with his brother starting for BYU at LB the last few seasons. Madden has that type of potential.

32.[player_tooltip player_id='238435' first='Treynor' last='Cleeland'] 6-2 205 QB Jesuit COMMITTED: UC Davis

UPDATE: The Crusaders graduated numerous D1 athletes, which is a perfect opportunity for Cleeland to step up and back up his D1 status. For the first time in many years Jesuit will not be favored to win the Metro League title, so we will see if the talented QB can counter that.

As most know, Cleeland has NFL genes and recently just landed his first D1 offer. His stock has shot through the roof impressing with his arm strength and accuracy.

33.[player_tooltip player_id='285876' first='Kameron' last='Rague'] 6-1 195 ATH South Medford

UPDATE: One of the most intriguing athletes in the state heading into the 2024 season. If he can stay healthy he has legit D1 potential.

Rague is an ultra-competitive athlete showing flashes of being one of the best in Oregon at the 6A level. If he can put it all together next season, he could be just that.

Last year's Oregon 3A POY made the transfer to South and had a good year. He split time at the RB spot, carrying the ball 70 times for 460+ yards during the regular season. He will likely project at Safety where he had 2 INTs.

34.[player_tooltip player_id='407439' first='Brody' last='Thomas'] 6-2 205 OLB Sheldon

UPDATE: I would consider Thomas one of the best players in the NW who some might not know about yet. As noted he comes from a ridiculously talented family, with 1st team all-state potential.

Thomas could have a 100+ tackle season and be a key part of the offense. There is still a lot to be proven but he has that type of potential.

The brother of last year's conference POY Brock Thomas, now with the Ducks. Brody had a good year making 40+ tackles with 2 tackles for loss. He projects as one of Oregon's most athletic defensive athletes with the size necessary to do well collegiately.

35.[player_tooltip player_id='904424' first='Brady' last='Holland'] 6-3 300 G/DT Lincoln OFFERS (1) Air Force

UPDATE: Holland has a stock which has shot through the roof, doing well on the camp circuit and landing an offer from Air Force. He has added some legit size and could dominate the PIL after earning 1st team all league honors on D and 2nd team on offense.

36.[player_tooltip player_id='527043' first='Brody' last='Sahlfeld'] 6-4 260 G Glencoe

UPDATE: There is still a lot yet to be determined here, with Sahlfeld being a potential steal for a D2. The three-year starter will be a favorite for Pacific Conference lineman of the year honors.

Head coach Ian Reynoso started for the Ducks on the O line and knows what a D1 lineman looks like. He puts Sahlfeld in that conversation.

Sahlfeld is one of the top two-way lineman in the state, impressing on the defensive side of the ball before getting injured in week 6. He is a 2x all conference athlete, who will be in the mix for Pacific Conference lineman of the year honors next season, likely projecting at the FCS level.

37.[player_tooltip player_id='285868' first='Danny' last='Wideman'] 5-10 175 ATH West Linn COMMITTED: Oregon (Baseball)

UPDATE: There isn't much more Wideman could have done on the field over the last two seasons. His numbers have been ridiculous as part of a loaded WL team, also being listed as one of the top overall athletes in the state and committing to the Ducks for baseball.

Few people put up better numbers than Wideman last season, and he will likely remain a favorite target for QB [player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'], which will help him continue to thrive statistically.

Really like this kid. Wideman will be a conference POY candidate next season after being a unanimous 1st team all TRL selection this year. He put up one of the best stat lines in Oregon catching 60 passes for 943 yards and 14 total TDs.

38.[player_tooltip player_id='1103727' first='Wilson' last='Medina'] 6-1 200 RB/WLB Sherwood

UPDATE: Medina continued to help himself out on the camp and 7v7 circuit, impressing at multiple events. It will be interesting to watch him against non-league competition this coming season.

Another one of the fastest rising recruits in the state. Medina has totaled 2000+ yards and 30 TDs over the last two years, earning 1st team all-conference honors on both sides of the football. As good as he is on offense, he will likely project on D, with top coach Alex Brink calling him a D1 talent.

39.[player_tooltip player_id='285881' first='Lusiano' last='Lopez'] 6-2 240 DL Lake Oswego

UPDATE: Definitely one of the more underrated kids in the state. Lopez will be an Oregon 6A POY candidate on the defensive side of the ball. We will see if that translates from a recruitment standpoint.

From a pure talent standpoint there are few defenders who are better within the state of Oregon. We will see if he can create some buzz this off season on the camp circuit.

Lopez is one of the NW's top D lineman, earning 1st team all TRL honors the last two seasons. He added some legit size this past year and will be a candidate for Oregon lineman of the year honors in 2024.

40.[player_tooltip player_id='511878' first='D'Marieon' last='Gates'] 5-8 160 ATH Central Catholic

UPDATE: Definitely one of the best route runners in the NW. On the field he has been outstanding. On the recruiting front Gates will project as a potential FCS guy.

One of the best players in Oregon with the size being the biggest question mark. He was physical and incredibly impressive on D last year, countering the size narrative.

Gates earned 1st team all Mt Hood honors and has one of the fastest rising stocks in Oregon. He went for close to 700 all-purpose yards and 7 TDs, averaging 18.2 yards per catch. He also excelled on D making 42 total tackles with 5.5 tackles for loss, helping the Rams to the state title.

41.[player_tooltip player_id='285873' first='Kellen' last='Hicks'] 6-1 175 S Mountainside

UPDATE: Expect a big year out of Hicks. The Mavericks D features a host of high-profile kids with Hicks being a conference POY candidate and legit collegiate athlete.

I could see Hicks being the Metro League's Defensive POY. He is one of the fastest rising athletes in Oregon and a potential top 25 recruit.

Hicks was a 1st team all-league kid and could jump up this list quick with continued progression. Statistically he was dominant, finishing among the state leaders in INTs with 5 and adding 58 total tackles. Just a very good overall athlete.

42.[player_tooltip player_id='285854' first='Suliasi' last='Laulaupeaalu'] 6-4 335 T Sherwood

UPDATE: Junior will be a 4-year starter and 4 year all conference lineman. The biggest question continues to be mobility and how much improvement will be made.

There are still questions from a mobility standpoint, but the strength and experience speak to his potential and are tough to match up against.

The big man had a great year for the Bowmen up front, earning 1st team all-Pacific honors and moving with improved ability. The 3x all conference tackle will get some looks collegiately as you can't teach the size.

43.[player_tooltip player_id='410655' first='Colin' last='Fratzke'] 6-5 260 DL Lakeridge

UPDATE: Fratzke's size speaks to his potential. He continues to move up the rankings board after an impressive junior year which saw him record 48 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks.

44.[player_tooltip player_id='407256' first='Tau' last='Takau'] 6-2 220 OLB/DL Roosevelt

UPDATE: Probably the leading candidate for PIL Defensive POY honors heading into the season. Takau has the ability to play a high level of ball if he moves on collegiately.

Takau comes from a talented family and could play at the FCS level or higher with continued progression. He is elite from a strength standpoint, earning 1st team all PIL honors behind his teammate DJ Johnson, who was conference POY.

45.[player_tooltip player_id='406758' first='Kainoa' last='Hayes'] 6-2 250 DT Central Catholic

UPDATE: Most know how talented Hayes is and how well the Rams D played last year. If he can match that performance, he will have some good options collegiately.

Hayes earned 2nd team all Mt Hood accolades for the 2nd year in a row, helping CC to the state title. He made 45 tackles with 4 tackles for loss, projecting as one of the most technically sound big men in the region.

46.[player_tooltip player_id='408638' first='Brody' last='Borrevik'] 6-2 240 DE/OLB Sheldon

UPDATE: Much like his teammate [player_tooltip player_id='407439' first='Brody' last='Thomas'], Borrevik has the potential to be one of the best in Oregon. There are questions as it relates to where he projects positionally, but he is super talented.

Borrevik had a good junior year at Sheldon and proved that he was one of the state's top defenders regardless of classification. He may challenge his teammate Tuioti for conference player of the year honors.

Borrevik was one of the state's best at the 4A level last year, before making the transfer from Marist. The Junior put on some size and earned 2nd team all-conference honors for the Irish, finishing as the team's 2nd leading tackler behind Tuioti.

47.[player_tooltip player_id='902384' first='Lincoln' last='Mason'] 6-6 250 DL Wilsonville

UPDATE: Definitely a kid that has gone somewhat under the radar. Mason made 27 tackles, with 8 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks last season for the 5A state champs. You can't teach 6-6 with his tenacity so I would expect a big senior campaign.

48.[player_tooltip player_id='285874' first='Nick' last='Crowley'] 5-11 185 ATH Wilsonville

UPDATE: Crowley is one of top skill kids in the state regardless of classification. He was dominant as a junior, catching 58 passes for 1,059 yards, and 15 TDs. He was a big reason the Cats won the 5A state title.

49.[player_tooltip player_id='406771' first='Enrike' last='Aguilar'] 6-3 240 DE North Salem

UPDATE: Aguilar is a great kid and student, but North can be a tough place to get recruited due to strength of schedule and other factors. Regardless he is one of the best DE's in the state.

Definitely one of the most versatile lineman in the state. Aguilar totaled 7 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, and 33 QB pressures. North played subpar competition all year so it will be important for Aguilar to continue and impress against the region's best on the camp circuit.

50.[player_tooltip player_id='904370' first='Maximilian' last='Kane'] 6-5 220 DE Beaverton

UPDATE: There is still a lot yet to be determined here but Kane has one of the highest ceilings of any athlete in his class at 6-5. He has done well over the off season and will be key if the Beavers are going to compete this coming year.

Kane is long and super talented but still somewhat raw. He has the frame to put on some significant size and could be a good college athlete. He earned 2nd team all-Metro honors for a Beavers team that struggled, making the accolades that much more impressive.
