<p>Miyamura OL/DL <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='851890' first='Taye' last='Silversmith']</strong>, ranked No. 5 overall in our latest 206 rankings, announced on social media Thursday that he has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and partially torn MCL and will not compete in any sports for the 2024-25 academic year. Silversmith said he "faced an injury" at the beginning of the summer and was examined by doctors on multiple occasions. Finally, the diagnosis was reached.</p>

<p>The 6-foot-1, 245-pound Silversmith vowed to return "greater than ever" for his senior season in 2025.</p>
