Under the Radar Seniors You Need to Watch this Fall

There are many quality prospects who will be recruited on all levels of college football. This list below is evidence of that. I recently published an article covering <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2024/07/unoffered-2025-prospects-from-virginia-you-need-to-watch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">unoffered prospects in the class of '25</a> in Virginia. Today, I want to continue in that vein and look at under the radar prospects in the class of '25.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1233195"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6695e121d9ba4"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Tyler is our 50th Ranked WR for the class of '25, and he displays good change of direction (COD) and quickness, making him a threat in change of direction routes that take advantage of this skillset. He has good hands making him a dependable WR for Tallwood. After the catch, he is elusive using his good short area quickness and COD to make defenders miss and create positive yards. There is not much film available on him now, but with the players around him that will command attention, JD has a chance to become an impact player for Radford. He is a great player for Briar Woods and sticks his nose into every play evidenced by his 130 tackles last season (per his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16627506/6547df71066ba406b4cec4c7"><em>Hudl</em> highlight</a>). He has very quick read and reaction to the offensive play and quickly comes downhill to fill his gap. He knows how to use his hands to shed blocks and is a strong tackler. He has good range as a LB to cover the outside run. I was able to attend a Jefferson Forest game this past season and I consistently heard Wrigley's names on both sides of the ball, and when his name is not called, he is doing the dirty work to open the way for his teammates. We believe he has the upside to play at the FCS level. He displays very good agility, foot speed, and change of direction (COD). He has the speed to take any time he touches the ball. We have him ranked in the FCS range and his film shows why:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Wide Receiver</span></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>His very good foot quickness and agility allow him to make a move versus press to get past the CB into his stem. His foot speed and COD allow him to get separation at the top of his route. Shows the ability to track the ball in the air, adjust to the throw and make a catch in traffic. After the catch, his speed takes over with the ability to outrun most DBs he will face. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Defensive Back</span></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Good backpedal to allow himself to read the route and the QB. His very good COD allows him to quickly break on the WR and be in position to make a play on the ball. He has been performing well at D1 camps this summer. He has good height and size with an 80" wingspan. Displays solid quickness in his initial steps to burst upfield. Good use of hands in his pass rush utilizing a swim, hand swat, and rip move. Has the tools to have a good speed-to-power rush with his good strength and explosiveness. Has strong legs to hold his ground in run defense with good tackling. William is one who very well could raise his stock this season. He is a stacked linebacker who processes the game well and displays good lateral agility and can quickly fill the gap. His height will move him to Guard at the next level, but his film shows that he can make that transition. He has good foot work which allows him to create good block positioning and leverage in Gap and Zone blocks. Very good grip strength he uses to clamp onto defensive linemen and control them. He displays the athleticism to pull blocks and come to control at the POA to kick out edge defenders or lead block to the second level. Solid pass protector in his jump set to keep a half man relationship and displays a good anchor to stop the bull rush. He is an offensive lineman that you need to pay attention to this fall.
