He's a big man in the middle that loves to plug the middle in the run game. He has very strong legs and is able to anchor down and keep his gap assignment. He has some escaping skills, and is able to throw on the run with ease. He was all over the field both offensively and defensively. Chase possesses great contact balance, and does a great job of grinding out tough yards between the tackles. He has no problem making 1 cut and breaking free for chunk plays. He does a great job of staying home and making the plays that come to him without getting out of position. He's a solid blocking TE who can leak out over the middle in the passing game. He's a mismatch for a lot of defenders and is athletic enough to do some damage after the catch.
