Coaches were discussing him from the first drills. He has tremendous lower body strength and showed a wide base in drill. He has quick hands and excellent balance. Once competition started, Hayden won almost every rep and kept hustling back for more. He is strong enough to handle bigger lineman and quick enough to get hands on speed rushers. He is a fundamentally sound player that brings a lot of nasty to the trenches. His film shows more of the same; a versatile lineman that can pull to the edge and also help on defense. He was called out for the coaches picks to compete and easily won his reps. He has a quick first step and good instincts and field vision. His film shows more of the same; a player with quick feet that can get to the boundary and also brings the lumber. He has great size and presents a large catch radius. He showed good vertical leap and great hips at the top of routes. He won many reps and found himself in the coaches picks for competition. He won that rep easily as coaches discussed his potential. He is every bit of 6'4", and brings a solid skill set with it. He has a strong arm and can make many throws. He has good pocket movement and ball accuracy.
