Heneghan's arm strength was on full display last year, often throwing off-platform passes with a lot of velocity. His game translates very well to the next level, showcasing his ability to run a spread offense attack. Few quarterbacks in Illinois possess as much talent as Heneghan in the class of 2025. He played in a double wing offense last year, so it will be interesting to see how he performs in a more traditional offense. Regardless of the scheme, Vaughn shows a ton of upside as both a passer and a runner. When he takes off, he can really stress the defense if they don't account for his legs. He has a great understanding of both his offense and the defenses he faces. His ability to get the ball out quickly based on pre-snap reads is impressive for a young quarterback. He also displays exceptional ball placement, consistently leading his receivers.
