Gryson Cockrell - ATH - Lagrange

A multi-sport star who shines on both the gridiron and the baseball diamond, Cockrell is easily one of the more underrated prospects in West Georgia for the 2025 class. A strong natural athlete who can really run, Cockrell brings an impressive combination of size and speed, running a 4.51 at 6-foot-0 175-pounds. He's a young man who competes hard, shows impressive hand-eye coordination, and strong ball skills, allowing him to make big plays at both receiver and in the secondary. As a junior last fall, Cockrell made play after play in the secondary, making 35 total tackles along with three INTs and three fumble recoveries. He's a do-it-all type of athlete who can make an impact in all three phases of the game, and he showed last season as a junior that he's capable of playing at the next level somewhere. He also brings a high 3.78 GPA along with natural instincts and a strong football IQ. He's always in a position to make a play and will be even better next fall as a senior. He's an easy under the radar prospect in West Georgia who deserves more recognition from college coaches still looking for another high-caliber defensive back in the 2025 class

Jakob Lunsford - DL - Stephens County

A North Georgia defensive lineman flying under the radar, Lunsford is an interior defensive lineman who consistently does his job in the middle of the trenches. He's not the biggest or heaviest lineman at 6-foot-0 235-pounds, but he plays bigger than his size who can beat opposing tackles with both quickness and his natural strength. He holds his ground and plays with good leverage, allowing him to clog running lanes between the tackles. He's also quick enough to sneak his way into the backfield if interior offensive linemen aren't ready to get hands on him off the snap. Lunsford is a high-energy guy who plays hard every single play. He's coming off an impressive junior season where he made 56+ tackles, 16 TFLs, four sacks, two fumble recoveries, and was an All Region 8-AAA All-Region selection even while missing two games during the season. He may not have ideal measurables, but he plays with heart, effort, and was one of the more productive defensive linemen in the area last fall as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566859' first='Colby' last='Alexander'] - WR - Archer

One of the more underrated wideouts in Gwinnett County, Alexander is a sure-handed receiver with excellent burst, straight-line speed, and the ability to make plays in a number of different ways. He can line up on the outside, in the slot, and out of the backfield, and has enough speed and vision to make plays as a return man on special teams if given more opportunities to do that in 2024. As a junior last fall, Alexander only played in five games, but he ended up catching 19 passes for 309 yards and three touchdowns. Due to his 4.4 speed and versatility, making an impact but down the field and in the short passing game, Alexander has a chance to have a giant senior season in 2024. If college coaches are looking for a speedy under the radar receiver in the 2025 class, Alexander could be their guy. If he can stay healthy and continue developing his craft as a route-runner, Alexander could be tough to stop for opposing defensive backs this fall.
