Lonnie started on the Crusaders offensive line as a freshman and had a great season helping open running lanes and protecting the quarterback on a high powered offense in 2023. He is a tenacious competitor and really athletic offensive lineman with a great motor, is very quick and has very good strength. His skill level continues to improve and match his athletic ability and mindset he has to want to be the best he can be. Johnson is also going to play some defensive end and d-tackle his sophomore year and has the talent and ability to be very successful on that side of the ball as well. I watched him play there in middle school and he exceled there. Lonnie earned all-conference, all-district and all-state honors following his freshman varsity season. Kent State and Miami University are early offers for the talented lineman.

[player_tooltip player_id='408969' first='Caleb' last='Green'] - OLB/EDGE -Lee's Summit North
(6'0" 220) Uncommitted
- Part of the extremely talented Bronco 2027 class, Caleb has been a player who has shown glimpses of what was to come since middle school with his skills to rush the passer offer the edge. The younger brother of Mizzou starting OL Cayden Green has made a name for himself following his outstanding freshman season, and put himself on the recruiting map with some early offers. He has one of the quickest first steps off the edge you will find and explodes like he is being shot out of a cannon. Caleb uses that explosiveness and speed along with good hands and technique to win most of his battles against offensive linemen. He's a good athlete overall with good strength and is physical with a good motor and finishes plays well. He loves to train and continues to get better. Kent State and Miami University took notice and extended early offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188358' first='Marshaun' last='Ivy'] - LB/DE - Cardinal Ritter
(6'3" 232) Uncommitted
- Another young rising defender who has made it on the radar of some colleges and landed his first offer this spring, Marshaun had with look of an older player with his size and frame, and caught my attention with some limited play I watched from the sidelines. He's a big, strong athlete who can really run and cover a lot of ground. He uses his speed well coming off the edge at outside linebacker, and he also has the ability to play with his hand down if he continues to grow and is moved to that spot on defense. At linebacker, Marshaun can play all the positions and cover a lot of ground sideline to sideline, as well as cover backs and tight ends with his abilities. He likes to hit and has a good motor to chase down and make plays. Look for a breakout season with his Lions. Miami University was his first offer he picked up this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='1131028' first='Eke' last='Henderson'] -WR/CB - Lift For Life
(6'0" 170) Uncommitted
- Eke had one of the best seasons among the freshman class in the city of St. Louis and the state last year. He is a big time playmaker on both offense and defense using his speed and quickness to make big plays. He is great in space and runs good routes, plus has very reliable hands both as a receiver and defensive back. Last season at Vianney he caught 28 passes for 406 yards and 2 touchdowns. On defense Eke recorded 23 tackles and a pick. He has since transferred schools and looks like he will be a big part of his new schools high powered offense along with seeing time in a talented defensive backfield as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188339' first='Noah' last='McCollum'] -DE - Eureka
(6'3" 230) Uncommitted
- The 2027 defensive line class looks like it is shaping up to be a really good one, and one of the reason is the talented defensive end on the rise McCollum. Noah has good size and has grown in the offseason adding weight and muscle. He impressed me this summer with his play at camps with his motor, tenacity and ability to get in the backfield and disrupt plays and put pressure on the quarterback. He looked good as a freshman but has upped his game for his sophomore season by not only improving himself physically but with his technique. As a freshman Noah recorded 30 tackles and 3 sacks. He looks ready and motivated to improve on those numbers in 2024.
