[player_tooltip player_id='855273' first='Cameron' last='Margeson'] had a good year last year as a wide receiver for Hempfield. He runs good routes and catches the ball well. He especially catches the ball well when the ball is thrown in difficult places. He also does a good job of catching the ball in traffic. He seems to know exactly how to find the opening in the defense. Margeson was at our Prep Redzone showcase and did a nice job participating in the camp. I am expecting a big Senior year from him.

He does a great job of catching 50/50 balls against defenders. He has great size (6'3 inches tall) and he knows how to use that size to his advantage. Below is what my colleague [player_tooltip player_id='1156407' first='Vic' last='Castillo'] wrote about Charles:

"Primaries as an outside lane wideout. Can serve as an impact blocker out wide, can be tasked with stretching the field vertically. Not a blazer but is seen getting open thanks to his longer-than-average stride. Has a rep or two on tape that showcases his high-pointing ability, I think he could be a better producer next Fall. Rest of tape has him serving as a trustworthy comeback/hitch/slant runner. Sure hands for the most part. Wouldn't be surprised to see his stock boosted this time next year".

He shows excellent instincts at the linebacker position. He does a nice job of reading and reacting to the offensive play and then attacking downhill to make the play. He is good in the run game especially as he is a tackling machine in the box. As a tackler, he does a good job of tackling ball carriers, especially in the open field. He does a good job of extending his arms to push defenders off the ball. He moves his feet well to stay in front of defenders. He is especially good as a pass blocker.
Dominick Acevedo is a football player who can do a ton of different things on the football field, but his season was cut short by an injury. He played as a wide receiver and as a safety for Hempfield last year. At wide receiver, he played as a slot receiver. He showed a good ability to catch the ball in traffic and make people miss in space. On defense, he shows his versatility. He played free safety and as a strong safety. At both positions, he does a nice job in coverage. He also showed a good ability to tackle as well. Finally, he blocked a punt as well. Acevedo is a good prospect in the 2025 class and just needs to stay healthy to have a productive season.

Final Thoughts: Hempfield plays in the highly competitive Section 1 of the Lancaster Lebanon League. They have a nice core of players returning. As you noticed on this list I did not list a quarterback, that will be a big part of the season and Hempfield is still working this out. If a quarterback develops they could be a good team.
