Promising 2027 Defensive Linemen To Watch

He's lengthy enough to rush the quarterback on the edge of the line. His first varsity play was a muffed punt where he recovered the ball in the endzone after blowing by his blocker. Physically, he's got a build you can tell he is working on. He's got upper-body muscle and it helps him at the point of attack. If he builds up his lower body it'll help him start to drive through a bunch more linemen. I liked his ability to get off blocks and make a quick tackle. He's ahead of schedule with his physical build and it's helped him tremendously on the field to this point. Now, it'll be working on his craft and being more creative. He's got a high motor when rushing the passer and does a good job using his strength to bulldoze his way through. I will say I'm unsure of his ability to catch downfield, but I'd imagine he's capable. Either way, I don't think it will be too much longer before he starts making a big impact on the Varsity level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
