2022 Ranking, Hit or Miss?
I'd call Abdul Carter's 2022 ranking a hit for the most part. I would love to have the likely 1st-Round NFL Draft Pick a bit higher than six overall, yet we identified Carter as the best backer in all of PA at the time, we'll take it.
2023 Season Recap via Gopsusports.com
Season: Started all 13 games...Made 48 tackles (25 solo), 5.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, five pass breakups and five quarterback hurries...Named the coaching staff's Defensive Player of the Game (Maryland, 11/4).

Abdul Carter was the most dominant player on the field Saturday afternoon. His gap vision and burst upfield are parallel with the best linebacking prospects in Pennsylvania. His build is filled out. He's got thump behind his pads and made even some of the best athletes on Imhotep feel his presence. His consistent level of play helps senior

2022 Ranking, Hit or Miss?
I'd call Nick Singleton's ranking a hit, an easy one at that. Was generally the consensus top player in Pennsylvania at the time, yet we went with Enai White at the one spot, which might be the lone regrettable aspect, although a nitpick. Anyone could scout Nick Singleton in HS, was as dominant a prospect as you can come across.

Appeared in 13, making seven starts...Finished with 171 rushes for 752 yards and eight touchdowns...Had 26 catches for 308 yards and two touchdowns...Tallied 13 kick returns for 313 yards (24.1) with a long return of 51 yards.

JR Nicholas Singleton – Governor Mifflin – Singleton is without a doubt not only just one of the best players in the state but is one of the best players in the country. He had a ridiculous season, rushing for over 1,300-yards and 22 touchdowns while averaging 12.3 yards per carry. He's a complete back and a truly special player that could be a star at the Power Five level. There's not much else we can say about him that people don't already know.

PRZPA's 2021 Rankings capped at a Top 50, yet Old Dominion's Jason Henderson didn't crack said Top 50. Even had Henderson been ranked relatively high, I hardly imagine we'd rank him where he deserves. Tied for the top overall prospect with the Penn State boys. This was an early miss.
2023 Season Recap via ODUSports.com
Led the country in tackles per game with 14.2 and third in tackles per loss per game with 1.6 ... Finished second in the country in total tackles behind Jay Higgins of Iowa, who had 171 tackles in 14 games. Henderson had 170 tackles in 12 games ... Tied for fourth in the country with 19.5 tackles for loss ... Added four sacks, one pass breakup and one forced fumble ... Had 11 double-digit tackle games and led the team in tackling nine times ...

ODU turned in a fabulous week, bringing in significant talent on both sides of the ball. Ogundipe, a 6'5″, 265lb offensive tackle and a top 10 senior offensive lineman in PA, has sparred against some of the best defensive players in the state while at Imhotep. Henderson, a 6'1″, 210lb outside linebacker, will look to continue to make plays at the next level of his career.

2022 Ranking, Hit or Miss?
A hit. Ranked as the top two-way player in his class, although he likely should have been ranked a few spots higher among 2021 prospects, admittedly. This all before Johnson's eventual move to Oregon from Ole Miss. An easy evaluation, I can recall seeing glimpses of an NFL prospect in Johnson's game at Neumann-Goretti.

Johnson is currently ranked as our 21st best senior prospect and is holding offers from some of the best programs in the country, including Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M. Whichever program is lucky enough to land this kid is going to land an absolute playmaker. Johnson is the best player on the field every time he takes to the turf. The 4-star recruit's best trait is his position versatility. He can break open a game as a kick or punt returner where he displays awesome wheels and great open-field vision. Good things happen when this kid has the ball in his hands with space to work with. Johnson primarily plays safety for N&G where he displays good range and can lead the defense from a cerebral standpoint. He has outstanding instincts at safety when it comes to both playing the run and pass. He has a knack for being around the football and causing turnovers as most great defensive players with his ball skills often do. Can contribute as at corner if need be. He also gives reps at wideout and running back on offense. Johnson does whatever is needed of him and always brings energy to the game. He is a somewhat short player standing at just 5'9″ but he carries his weight well, having a chiseled, muscular build.

2022 Ranking, Hit or Miss?
In hindsight, ranking Kyle McCord this high might be a miss to some, not me. Thinking back, it's hard to imagine choosing any other QB prospect to hold the one spot outside of McCord, who put together nothing short of a legendary career at St. Joe's Prep. I also am not counting McCord out at Syracuse, despite his earlier-than-expected departure from Ohio State. I'd call this a hit, for now.

The argument can be made that the bulk of talent in Philadelphia resides in the PCL Red Division alone. A whopping total of 30 ranked players play for the top four teams in the Red division, with St.Joe's bringing out eight ranked seniors, many of which have garnered national attention from big-time D1 programs. The spotlight can't be any brighter on St.Joes' Kyle McCord , Marvin Harrison Jr ., and Jeremiah Trotter Jr . They will lead the way once again for Joes as to what will most likely be another division title solely based on the sheer amount of talent across every class and every position.

2022 Ranking, Hit or Miss?
I'd consider this a slight miss if I'm being honest. Yes, we have the former Mt. Lebo standout inside the Top 100, yes he was ranked inside the top ten at his position (DB). All of this being said, I didn't figure Tecza would impact the game as early as he did at the Naval Academy. I didn't expect him to start as an underclassman, nor produce the way he did in what was effectively his first year on the turf. Enters this coming Fall as the starting FB.

A starter in 8 of Navy's 12 contests, he garnered Honorable Mention All-AAC honors ... led Navy in rushing, averaging 63.2 yards per game and 6.0 yards per carry, which ranked 22nd nationally ... also caught 16 passes for 97 yards (6.1 yds/catch, 8.1 yds/gm) ...

Lebanon | 2022#78STATEPA out of Mount Lebanon has catapulted himself into the top 70 of our rankings primarily because of how heavily he is being recruited by DI programs. Tecza has put together an impressive football and lacrosse career and the fruits of his labor are beginning to come forth. We are excited to see how much further Tecza can boost his stock this coming season as well as where he plans to play college ball in the future. As of now, the top ten '22 defensive back still has plenty to work on and plenty to prove.

Outside of Jahiem White's immediate family, coaches, and friends, you won't find a bigger fan of his game than myself. I've gone on record saying Jahiem White is the best HS player I've seen live. He STILL holds that crown. Ranking White as the top back in his class was easy. I'll admit, I didn't expect Jahiem White to take CFB by storm this early, with White putting together an unreal freshman performance over at West Virginia. This was a hit.

Also had five receptions for 125 yards, two touchdowns and a long catch of 75 yards

Excited to finally see 3-star running back and West Virginia commit Jahiem White live and in action this Friday. One of the best backs in the state, if not the best when you consider how capable White is in the passing game. I've stated in the past that I would take White's pass-catching ability over many of the state's top wideouts. His ability to be an every-down back had to play a role in his recruitment. White is just 300 yards away from calling himself William Penn York's all-time leading rusher. Who knows, he could claim the title this Friday.

Inside the Top Ten of his class, yet I didn't name Northeast's Tyreek Chappell as the best DB in his class. Yes, I clearly thought highly of Chappell, yet not high enough in my opinion. I'll consider not making Chappell the class's top DB a miss on my part.

The elite athlete and future Texas A&M star has garnered much attention around the nation as well as this site. The 8th overall 2021 prospect and 2nd best 2021 defensive back on our rankings, who also landed a spot on our All-City team, can do whatever is asked of him on defense. The four-star DB allowed zero catches during his junior campaign! There isn't much to be said about Chappell that hasn't already been said, his versatile game and elite athleticism speaks for itself and makes him one of Pennsylvania's best players.

Definite miss on my end. There was no question McMillon was one of the best prospects the state had to offer, yet not having McMillon inside the Top Ten, or at least at the top DB spot has me shaking my head a bit. McMillon couldn't crack the starting lineup over at Florida, yet has made up for things after transferring to Pitt. Some might still call this a hit, not me, especially after watching McMillon lead all Panthers in tackles last Fall.
2023 Season Recap via pittsburghpanthers.com
Enrolled at Pitt in January 2023 as a mid-year transfer from Florida...played in all 12 games, starting eight at strong safety...named Honorable Mention All-ACC...led the Panthers in tackles with 105, the most by a Pitt defender since 2015 (Jordan Whitehead, 109)...added one assisted TFL, one forced fumble and one pass breakup on the year...making his first collegiate start when the Panthers played at West Virginia (Sept. 16), collected a game-high 18 tackles, spearheading a defensive effort that yielded just 211 total yards…his 18 stops were the most by a Pitt player since the 2015 season (Matt Galambos, 19 vs. Navy in the Military Bowl)…additionally, his 18 tackles were the most (tied) by an ACC player and the most by an FBS defensive back in 2023…had five total double-digit tackle games on the year
