A rare blend of size and speed for a player who is only going to be a sophomore. He has the ability to really run and shows really good vision for someone who plays quarterback where he reads holes like a runningback. Stands tall in the pocket with good timing but as he progresses as a high school quarterback he will be one to watch. A player that shows elite balance and the ability to slow down then speed up in the hole. Has a natural feel when reading the running lanes and shows the ability to get to the edge. A good receiver out of the backfield and can even line up in the slot. Where he really shines is at safety for Borah where the senior is the unquestioned leader on the defense and plays with a really quick trigger. A great open field tackler and really adds a physical presence in the secondary. Improved over the summer in his ability to cover slot receivers and tight ends. Has great balance and vision to go with a tough mindset. He is not afraid to pick up tough yards and break tackles. Shows good speed with the ability to be a home run hit when he gets into the open space.
