Emerging Talents: 5 2026 Receivers Poised for A Breakout

We've got 5 receivers in the 2026 class who could breakout this fall. They are all very talented and have a bunch of things pointing to them having success.    Stringer is a true TE who is developing nicely on and off the field. His frame is decent, and he has great length, which helps him extend and bring down balls. His catch radius is what helps set him apart. If you get the ball in his vicinity he'll find a way to adjust and make the grab. He's also got decent speed for a guy his size so he can do some damage in the YAC department. He should see a usage bump this year and be more of a focal point moving forward.     Johnson is a fairly smooth athlete who can chew up chunks of yardage at a time. While he's currently a bit lean, as he puts muscle on and builds that frame it will help him become a much more complete receiver. He's got the frame to box out, dominate in the red zone, and operate as a true X-receiver so it'll be up to his development to get him there. He's talented and has the traits, it just needs to come to fruition.     Collier is an upcoming WR for Michigan City who could step in and take a large role this fall. He's a good athlete with a good change of direction and ball skills down the field. He does need to develop his route tree and be more aggressive at the catch point, but his raw abilities will take him far. If you get the ball in his hands and let him be creative and get to work, that's when he's at his best.     If there is one receiver who could come out and make a big splash for Roncalli this fall, it will be Guthrie. They are going to need some receivers to step up, but more importantly, he has the size and skills to do so. He's a good athlete off the line and doesn't have much wasted-movement. He gets up to speed in a hurry and does a good job tracking the ball over his shoulders. He's not the most physical receiver, but he's put weight on in the weight room and should be ready to roll this fall.     Rudzevicius is a very good-looking receiver who makes you excited for what he could do once live bullets start flying this fall. You can tell he spends a good amount of time in the weight room and it's starting to pay off. It hasn't impacted his ability to move or bend either, yet he's stronger and can bully his way downfield. He has no issue going up for a ball and fighting for it as well as boxing a defender out in the endzone. He checks quite a few boxes, but it'll be up to his play on the field this fall to determine how far he can go.
