All-Underappreciated Team: Quarterbacks

A few days ago, I started a series on underappreciated players across the state. These are the guys who have the numbers, but probably don't get the recognition they deserve. We'll tak e look at a few quarterbacks fitting that description here.
Five Underapparecated QBs
Farmer is a physcially-impressive quarterback who excels pplaying within Shelby's system. Farmer put up 44 touchdowns last season and though he's not much of a runner, he excels moving within the pocket and throwing off-platform. His arm has plenty of juice and he's accurate to all areas of the field. Overall, he's just a solid player that doesn't often get talked about among the state's best, though he absolutely fits in that group. I've been a huge fan of Byrd's for a few years as he's one of the most accurate quarterbacks I've ever evaluated, despite his lack of truly elite size and arm strength. He's able to manipulate his feet and arm angle to deliver throws from a variety of places and knows how to layer throws in between zones as well as any quarterback in the class. Still, he didn't get a ton of college interst and the Buccaneers of East Tennessee State are getting a steal. Albright had a breakout year last season as a junior in his first year at Mount Tabor, throwing for 25 touchdowns and nearly 1,800 yards. This year, he has the benefit of an entire in the system and has a chance to have a special senior season. He has a strong arm and good touch on deep balls. He's also able to drive the ball on throws across the middle and outside the numbers. Nance has good size, a strong arm and flashes the ability to add tremendous touch to deep and medium throws. He's also electric with the ball in his hands, finishing second in the state among quarterbacks with 38 rushing touchdowns. He takes care of the ball with a 20-to-three touchdown-to-interception ratio through the air, and yet doesn't have the kind of recruiting interest you'd expect. That will change, or at least it should. Though he's not the biggest quarterback in the state, Adair throws a good deep ball and goes through his progressions quickly. He excels at throwing to a spot on the field and puts his receivers in a good spot to maximize yardage after the catch. He doesn't get a ton of recognition despite being a solid quarterback for a few years.
