Man... Calondrey is a true hidden gem at Detroit Central, and I don't think his current skill comes close to his true potential. At 6'2" 175, Calondrey has an ideal frame and length to be a dominant receiver. His film shows solid route-running, downhill speed, and open-field ability. He tracks as a taller, more athletic X receiver, though he could easily be schemed up to play Z. Like I said, he's still a bit raw, but I absolutely love what I see when it comes to size and open-field athleticism. Calondrey currently holds a wide variety of offers from the MAC, GLIAC, and HBCU.

There's no way around it- Camden is one of the best overall athletes in this class. It's not every day you see someone commit to a D1 school for both basketball and Football, but Camden is. Watching his film, I see Camden as a phenomenal Z receiver. He does everything you'd want in a Z receiver. Contested catching, good deep route running, and physicality after the catch. I'm extremely impressed with the WR Skillset Camden demonstrated last season at Whitehall. I rarely see someone so tall have such great vision, body control, and physicality. I fully expect Camden to perform extremely well at Western, and that's why he's ranked so high.

Although Jaiden is a New Addition to the rankings, he isn't new to me. You see, I first saw Jaiden just after the last rankings update. At Legacy, coaches raved about him and I saw first-hand the effort he brought to the 7on7 circuit. Jaiden was the highest-effort player I saw at Legacy that day and one of the most technically sound as well. His film shows the same level of twitchiness and route-running prowess I saw in person. Now, the market for Slot receivers is extremely saturated, but I still have no doubt there's a place for Jaiden somewhere. I'm hoping a GLIAC or MIAA school starts recruiting him hard.

Jaeger is one of my biggest breakout candidates for next season. He may be another slot-type receiver, but he brings a lot of good to the table. First off, I've watched in person how twitchy this guy is. Jaeger explodes out of his stance and can quickly burn DBs with his great change of direction. That, combined with good hands and body control, makes for a high-upside receiver. The one thing that Jaeger really needs to prove next season is his RAC ability. If he can bring the IQ, Vision, effort, and explosiveness needed to convert chunk plays, he'll move up the rankings by the end of the season. For now, he's a low D2 talent.

Ryan is another guy new to the rankings but not to this website. I first discovered Ryan via a DM from his head coach Steven Spranger. Upon watching his film, I came away extremely impressed. His tape shows good route running, solid athleticism, but most of all, elite effort after the catch. Having watched Ryan in person a few times, I can confirm that Ryan is a good route runner, has good hands, and has the athletic foundation to be a great college receiver with some development. What you don't see at these off-season camps is his ability to make plays after the catch. On film, Ryan jukes, trucks, stiff arms, really whatever he can do earn extra yards. That goes a long way in my book, and I still think Ryan is a pretty underrated receiver. I hope to see more of the same this Fall, and I think some offers will come if he seeks them out.

Jerell is a very intriguing addition to the Rankings. On one hand, I've seen him in-person a few times. I know for a fact that Jerell is very athletic, can run any route effectively, and has solid hands. He's a guy who can burn you on a streak, or quickly turn around for a comeback. In fact, he's done enough during camp season to secure an offer from Saginaw Valley State. The one gaping hole in my evaluation of Jerell is game tape. I have none. On paper, Jerell is a receiver with overall above-average skillset, but I'd love to see that skillset translate to Friday Nights. He could be a very high riser in the next update, but before then, Jerell has to prove himself this season.
