He is a downhill true mike backer that can quickly get off blocks, scrape over the top while showing pass rush abilities when applying pressure up the middle and flashes closing speed with the ability to track down ball carriers backside. He flashes quick play diagnosis, triggers fast in the box and takes good angles in the open field while showing solid COD and lateral movement through traffic. He checks into our WL rankings and is in line for a monster Senior season and there should be no shortage of post-season accolades come December. He is very active from the outside linebacker position, and can trigger quickly, come up and set the edge and tackle both in the box and takes good angles in the open field. Arias also shows some pass coverage abilities as well against backs and bigger receivers while fluid in zone coverage with return abilities.
