He also flashes closing speed when knifing into the backfield and is a very sure tackler in open space that explodes their contact in packs a punch of the point of attack. On tape, he has tackling abilities in space and is a high motor kid that plays with violence at all times and is always looking for turnovers while having good position versatility at either or inside linebacker. On tape, he shows that he can trigger downhill quickly, tracks down ball carriers backside and takes good angles in the open field while also providing a pass rush both on the edge and up the middle.
