[player_tooltip player_id='735682' first='Aveion' last='Chenault'] has continued to establish himself as one of the top overall players in the state in his class. He is coming off a solid junior year in which he caught 25 passes for 328 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games. Chenault has very impressive athleticism which he uses to serve as a very reliable jump ball threat. He has shown the ability to go up and catch the ball at its highest point and come away with the catch, regardless of what type of coverage is around him. Chenault has also shown the speed to pose as a deep threat and pick up yards after the catch. Aveion also returned one punt for a touchdown as a junior. Chenault is committed to Western Michigan where I can see him making an immediate impact in their passing game once he gets there.

[player_tooltip player_id='373048' first='Brock' last='Coffman'] is a player who has been high on our radar for a while now and continued to stand out as a junior. He finished this past season with 67 receptions for 1,193 yards and 24 touchdowns in 13 games. Brock is a smooth route runner, using the breaks in his routes to create separation with ease. He also has the speed to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. Coffman also returned one punt for a touchdown as a junior and made an impact on defense, finishing the year with nine interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and one fumble recovery returned for a touchdown. Brock currently holds 14 Division I/Power 4 offers and I expect more to come his way as he is a high caliber prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='373809' first='Makhi' last='Smith'] is another 2025 wide receiver who has been high on our radar for a while now. He only played in three games as a junior but was productive when on the field, finishing the year with four catches for 147 yards and a touchdown. Smith is an impressive route runner, using his quick release and breaks to create separation. He is also a very dangerous deep threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. Smith currently holds offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Western Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, and West Virginia, and I expect more to come his way with a full senior season ahead of him as he is a true Power 4 caliber wide receiver prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='324212' first='Maurice' last='Stephens'] is a wide receiver that has continued to stand out over the past few seasons. He is coming off a strong junior year in which he caught 38 passes for 630 yards and 10 touchdowns in 14 games. Stephens is very reliable in contested catch situations as he is able to use his athleticism to go up and catch the ball at its highest point, and also has strong hands which he uses to bring in catches through contact. He is also a dangerous deep threat, using his explosive speed to blow by opposing defensive backs. Stephens also returned one kickoff for a touchdown as a junior and made an impact on defense, finishing the year with 38 tackles, one tackle for loss, and two interceptions. Maurice is committed to Kent State where I can see him developing into a key piece of their offense once he gets there.

To wrap up our top five wide receivers in the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky, I have [player_tooltip player_id='735688' first='Derion' last='Talbert']. Talbert had an impressive junior year, leading the Broncos with 38 receptions for 591 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games. He has explosive speed which he uses to blow by opposing defensive backs to create separation. Talbert is also dangerous after the catch, showing the ability to use his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes into big gains. He also made an impact as a ball carrier as a junior, finishing the year with 24 carries for 359 yards and three touchdowns. Derion also proved to be an electric returner on special teams, returning two punts for touchdowns last season. Talbert is committed to Ball State where I can see him being a dangerous weapon for their offense once he gets there.

[player_tooltip player_id='1112604' first='Patrick' last='Carr'] established himself as the top tight end in the state in his class with a strong junior year. He played a key role in the Fern Creek passing game, catching 24 passes for 321 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. Carr is a very reliable target, showing the ability to use his length and high catch radius to catch passes at their highest point away from his body. He has also shown the speed to get up the field to pick up extra yards after the catch. Carr is also a very physical blocker in the run game, showing the ability to drive his man down the field and finish his blocks through the whistle. Patrick currently holds offers from Southern Illinois, UT Martin, and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Division I caliber tight end prospect.

The second and final tight end included in our Top 200 for the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky is [player_tooltip player_id='373085' first='Andrew' last='Vrbancic']. Vrbancic is a very impressive blocker in the run game. He explodes out of his stance and does a great job of driving his man down the field to create a running lane. Andrew also does a great job of getting up to the second level and picking up blocks in the open field on long runs. He is also a reliable target in the passing game, finishing the three games he played in as a junior with four receptions for 82 yards. Andrew currently holds offers from Dartmouth and Indianapolis, and I expect more to come his way as he definitely has the talent to play at the next level.
