As we get closer to the 2024 high school football season, another rankings update period has begun. After covering the top players at each position in the upcoming senior class, I wanted to turn my attention to some players outside the top five at their position who saw their stock rise in the rankings update. With the offensive and defensive sides of the ball already being covered, here are some players who are on the rise in the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky who make an impact at multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='373077' first='James' last='Michael-Davis'] is a player who recently climbed into our rankings. On offense, he is a very reliable wide receiver. He has the athleticism to go up and catch passes at their highest point, even in traffic. Davis also has impressive route running ability, showing the quickness in his release and breaks to create separation. He has also shown the ability to make an impact on the defensive side of the ball at safety. James currently holds offers from Gardner Webb and UT Martin, and I expect a lot of eyes to be on him this season after transferring from Madisonville-North Hopkins to Bryan Station.

[player_tooltip player_id='735559' first='Isaiah' last='Sebastian'] is a player who has been on our radar for a while now and continued to stand out as a junior. I'm defense, Sebastian lines up at corner where he is very impressive in man coverage. He has shown the ability to mirror receivers' routes then break on the ball with perfect timing to make a play. Isaiah finished this past season with two interceptions with one returned for a touchdown. He is also an electric playmaker on offense, showing the speed and elusiveness in the open field to break away for a big play at any moment. Isaiah finished this past season with 80 carries for 741 yards and nine touchdowns while also catching 20 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns. He also threw five touchdown passes and returned five punts for touchdowns as a junior. Sebastian currently holds an offer from Thomas More and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play on either side of the ball at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1252816' first='TJ' last='Cothron'] is another player who has continued to stand out on both sides of the ball. He is very impressive on the defensive side of the ball at outside linebacker. Cothron does a great job of reading the play then coming downhill in a hurry to get to the ball carrier. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he explodes through contact and finishes his tackles with a ton of physicality. He is also a talented playmaker on offense at receiver. Cothron has shown the ability to use his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs to create separation. TJ currently holds an offer from Thomas More and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='735561' first='Quinten' last='Wooten'] is a player who has been on our radar for a while now and has continued to climb up our rankings. Wooten is a dangerous deep threat out of the slot, showing the ability to use his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs. He is also an impressive route runner, using quick breaks in his routes to create separation. Wooten also makes an impact on defense as a defensive back. Quinten doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on heading into his senior year.

My final stock riser to keep an eye on in the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky is [player_tooltip player_id='1252779' first='Kemonte' last='Braxton']. On defense, Braxton is a lockdown corner, showing the ability to open up and run with receivers to mirror their routes with ease. When the ball is thrown his way, he reacts with perfect timing to make a play, finishing this past season with two interceptions and 11 pass breakups. Braxton also returned one kickoff for a touchdown as a junior and made an impact on offense at receiver, catching 17 passes for 225 yards and four touchdowns. Kemonte currently holds an offer from Thomas More and I expect more to come his way heading into his senior year.
