2025 Prospects New to the Top 200 (Pt. 3)

The 2025 rankings have grown by 50 since our Spring Update as 200 of the best prospects in West Virginia are now represented on our site. Here are the new prospects who made their debut in the 2025 summer rankings update inside of the Top 200.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">NEW TO THE TOP 200</h2>    We're looking for a big year from 2025 Wheeling Park kicker [player_tooltip player_id='909096' first='AJ' last='Seals'] as he'll likely have a bigger role as a senior for the Patriots after splitting duties with a graduated senior. Seals was their PAT specialist as a junior where he was a very consistent and reliable presence converting on 42/44 extra points. He also attempted two field goals in spot duty hitting on one of them from 30 yards and should have more opportunities in that aspect this season. Seals also handled kickoff duties for the Patriots and showed a lot of ability and potential in that regard with a 50-yard average. Seals has obvious leg strength seeing the ball jump off his foot with fluid mechanics that give him a great base to work off of heading into his senior year.   We'll be watching for more game film and field goal opportunities from him that could propel him higher in the rankings after the season.      Williamstown's [player_tooltip player_id='1307483' first='Will' last='Sites'] is an intriguing prospect who potentially has a much higher ceiling than his current ranking. At 6'0 200, Sites has an impressive track background where he finished inside of the Top 15 for the 100m dash and long jump at the Class A WVSSAC State Track & Field State Championships with an 11.6-second 100m PR. That kind of athletic background gives him a solid ceiling as a LB football prospect where he flashed as a junior for the Yellowjackets. Sites totaled 48 tackles, 11 TFLs, and 3 sacks last season while playing primarily at defensive end but we view him as an outside linebacker at the next level. His speed and quickness off the edge combined with his physical style of play made him a very tough block at the small school level last season.   Sites is an under-the-radar prospect right now but has the potential to develop into a quality college player in time.      A PRZ WV Combine participant who caught our eye back in May was 2025 Parkersburg South DL [player_tooltip player_id='1226812' first='Tyson' last='Wagoner']. This led us to look further into Wagoner's game which earned a spot inside of the Top 200 based on his junior season and combine performance. Wagoner was very productive for the Patriots last season with 63 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, and 1.5 sacks. Wagoner has quality size in the 6'0 280 range with solid athleticism to pair with it. He's a physical player on both sides of the line who could also potentially play offensive guard in college as well depending on where programs like him the best. Wagoner has quality short-area quickness with a quick first step that allows him to make plays behind the line of scrimmage. His wide frame also makes him perfect for an interior defensive lineman at the small college level.   Wagoner is a very under-the-radar prospect to know this season that should have D3 programs in the region keeping close tabs on him this season.      Another under-the-radar big man prospect to know heading into the 2024 season is 2025 Spring Valley DL Triston Watts. Watts should have a bigger role for the Timberwolves this season after totaling 24 tackles as a junior in 2023 at defensive tackle. He has quality small college DL size at 6'0 240 with apparent athleticism to play at the next level. Watts' first step can beat guards inside and give him the chance to become a pass-rushing interior DL. He also flashed physicality on film with good hand use at times and pursuit of the ball.   We should be able to learn more about Watts' game this season with more snaps and game film available, but the flashes he showed as a junior warranted a Top 200 ranking with the potential to climb higher.      Another PRZ WV Combine participant who now ranks inside of the 2025 Top 200 is Mingo Central OL [player_tooltip player_id='1126402' first='Rilee' last='Hatfield']. Hatfield has junior film that we liked a lot but size keeps him in the D2/D3 border ranking range. He's a highly physical player who plays with a nasty streak and has violent hands that we loved when evaluating his tape. Hatfield can be a devastating pulling guard in the Miners' offense who brings a lot of force to the point of contact. He has heavy hands with a powerful punch and finishes his blocks until the whistle. Hatfield also showed quality athleticism when pulling and at our combine event with good feet in the short area.   You can find a lot of good small college linemen talent and value in the 150-200 ranking range and that's the case with Hatfield as well.      Speaking of talented but underrated offensive linemen in this ranking range, 2025 Scott OL [player_tooltip player_id='978804' first='Zach' last='McNeely'] is another one to know in the Top 200. McNeely is a Swiss Army Knife for the Skyhawks who can play any offensive line position at the high school level and translates best to guard or potentially center at the next level. At 5'10 275, size is the one trait that keeps him lower in the rankings, but he'll bring a ton of value to a small college program in the future. McNeely is a great competitor which we saw firsthand at the combine and when watching his junior tape. He's a bully on the field who plays with an edge and a nasty streak and likely does so from being overlooked due to his size. McNeely has violent hands and is an overall strong athlete who is very physical at the point of attack. He does a great job finishing blocks and plays until the echo of the whistle with quality footwork as well.   Even as an undersized lineman prospect, McNeely's play on the field was deserving of a Top 200 placement which often isn't the case with athletes of his stature.      2025 OL [player_tooltip player_id='875762' first='Josiah' last='Stratton'] will be making the big move to one of the state's best programs at Huntington High for his final high school season which could end up paying off in a big way for him. He'll have some tough competition to earn a starting spot with Highlanders, but Stratton has shown some good things on film to date and was a two-year starter for Lincoln County as a sophomore and junior. He'll compete for a guard spot at his new program after starting at left tackle for the Panthers. This move should greatly benefit him with his 6'0 265 size but the experience at tackle will aid him with the move. Stratton has the ideal size for a small college guard and has shown quality footwork at tackle in the past that can develop into an impressive and phsycially imposing interior run blocker.   If Stratton can earn a starting spot at Huntington while performing well against some of the state's top talent, his stock will surely rise with the potential to climb higher in the rankings.
