Absher leaped all the way into the #7 spot for LB’s with his high motor and looking like he has been shot out of a cannon when he brings pressure. He has great vision being able to read and react quickly. He can make tackles in the open field and with the way he is able to diagnose the play, he is making plays at the line of scrimmage or getting a TFL. He has offers from Bethel College and the University of Jamestown. He will be a player to keep on the radar this season.
Highlights
Hundred finds his way to the #10 spot on the list and had a ball out year this past season tallying 210 total tackles. He has a high motor and is always around the action. He will be working on being more physical at the point of the attack to not give up ground but on film is always rallying to the football. He has great vision being able to read the play as well as his keys to react quickly. He will be a stock watch player to see if he is able to duplicate the same success this season.
Highlights
Bruns falls in at the #11 spot and is a backer with a lot of speed, being able to take good pursuit angles to hawk the ball carrier down. He does not give up ground and can play with some physicality. He has an offer from Fort Lewis and will be looking to have a break out season to make it onto more radars.
Highlights
Walker drops in at the #12 spot and has a lot of upside to be a stock watch player this season. He has a lot of speed being able to drop back into coverage and come down to make a play in front of him. When his number is called on a blitz, he uses his physicality to get off of blocks and bring the QB down. He is a good open field tackler, being able to use his speed to close the gap and then drive through the ball carrier to bring him down.
Highlights
Rodriguez is a player to watch this season as he has a lot of upside and will be one of many stock watch players on this team. He has some soft hands being able to come down with some INTs and take them in stride. He plays with physicality and does not give up ground on contact. He is good at stripping the ball away from ball carriers and creating extra opportunities for the offense. He will be a player to know on this solid defense filled with talent.
