Going up against some of the best competition in the state, [player_tooltip player_id='1258665' first='Mackay' last='Jensen'] has some very impressive reps all throughout his film. With quick and agile feet, he's not your average lineman with slow and heavy feet. Instead, he uses his quickness to his advantage and is often able to show defenders how powerful he is, before they're anywhere near ready for it; and he certainly possesses plenty of power. With a smaller frame at 6'0" 260 lbs, Jensen has sheer strength that can be overpowering for his opponents. Not having the longest reach, his quickness comes into play again as he's able to close gaps and get engaged with defenders in a flash. Jensen is a player coaches should have a close eye on as he continues to grow both physically and mentally through this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1682206' first='Tyrique' last='Washington'] has a dangerous combination of speed and strength. Asked to pull quite a bit at his previous school, Saguaro, he was able to show off some good footwork and an ability to get across the formation before the play developed. When he gets to his destination, Washington does a great job of never keeping his feet still and using his sturdy base to provide power. He now shows up at Mountain Pointe not only as a powerful and skilled run blocker but as a very effective pass protector as well. Showing the strength Washington has in his lower half, he rarely ever gets moved out of position or loses hold of leverage once he has it. Washington is a name that coaches should have their eye on as he works through his junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1011737' first='Isaiah' last='Fuentes'] plays the game with great aggression. You can see it in each and every play; he doesn't want to just win each rep, he wants to dominate it. At 6'2" he has long arms and good reach which allow him to get engaged early with the defenders. Once he gets engaged, he does a good job of using his strength to take away the opponent's leverage. This is where the aggression really starts to shine through as he finishes plays by putting players in the ground. Fuentes is going to be able to contribute to the defending 5A champs in a big way as Higley looks to defend their title.

Armando Dominguez has some impressive length and surprising agility to go with it coming off the edge for Desert Vista. He's relentless in his pursuit of the ballcarrier and it shows all throughout his film. That type of high motor is exactly the type of thing that sets players apart. It's not just straight-line speed though; in the play below Dominguez shows his wiggle and is able to dip past the offensive lineman which ends up allowing him to bat the pass down. This type of pass rush added to his already impressive run-stuff will make for a scary combination for Desert Vista's opponents throughout his junior year.

Thomas Yamashita is an athletic guard with massive reach for Chaparral. You can see the athleticism starting with just his stance, getting very low and giving himself good leverage before the play even begins. Having such a low center of gravity before the snap allows him to shoot up and out at his opponents which proves to be a lot to handle with his 6'5" 295 lbs frame. Yamashita does a good job of using those long arms to keep a strong hold on defenders and rarely allows anyone to get around him once he gets engaged. As he continues to quicken his feet, he's only going to become more of a dominant force, and one coaches should have on their boards.
