Plays a Hybrid TE/H-Back role with the ability to line up inline, split out, or in the backfield. He stands at 6’1″ and 205lbs. Good athletic ability showing very good balance and explosiveness, good acceleration, foot speed, lateral agility, and change of direction. His blocking reps come out of the H-Back position where he leads through the hole or kicks out an edge defender where he utilizes his good lateral agility to cross the formation and displays good explosiveness at the point of attack and displays good balance and leg drive to sustain the block with good grip strength driving the defender out of the gap. As a receiver, he can run a basic route tree from any position he lines up in. He displays good processing in his route running, understanding when to cut to create separation versus defenders with better athleticism to create a passing lane for the QB. He displays solid ability to adjust to the ball with solid hands. After the catch, he will quickly turn up the field to generate positive yards and is willing to lower his shoulder through contact. He is slightly undersized for a D1 TE, but what he puts on film we believe has FCS upside, and his position flexibility on offense is a positive to his game.

Tyler’s skill set is best suited in the H-Back role due to his size, athleticism, and versatility. He stands at 6’2” and 200lbs. He displays good athleticism with very good lateral agility, good acceleration, foot speed, change of direction, and explosiveness. He is primarily used as a ball carrier and receiver. He has good route running, can utilize his athleticism to create separation, and displays good ability to adjust to throws with good hands to secure the catch, even when a defender is in tight coverage. As a ball carrier, he displays good agility and change of direction to weave through traffic and has very good physical toughness to break through tackles and gain positive yards through contact. He is utilized in various positions across the formation for John Champe’s offense and can be a weapon for a team at the next level. We believe he has FCS upside.

Solid height and adequate size with room to add muscle mass to his frame. Solid athletic ability displaying good lateral agility, acceleration, foot speed, and explosiveness, with solid balance. He is a balanced TE who can be utilized as a run blocker and in the passing game. He shows very good physical toughness as a blocker with good explosiveness at the point of attack with very good leg drive and sustain on the block. He can also line up split out and make open field blocks downfield in the screen game or outside running plays. Shows the processing needed in Zone blocking schemes and the ability to get into position off the snap to make a functional block. His initial block positioning in Zone and Pass Protection has room for development over the next two seasons. As a receiver, he shows good route running on a basic route tree. He utilizes his height to his advantage against defenders and high point the ball in the air with good hands to secure the catch. He displays good run strength after the catch and does not go down easy. He has FCS upside and will need to add muscle to play at that level, but I would not be shocked to see that level of offer come in over the next two seasons for Keyden.
