Sleeper MD Prospects - 2025 Rankings

<p>In this article I am focusing on some MD players in the 2025 rankings who are still under the radar when it comes to their recruiting. All of these prospects have little to no offers but should have or will be getting offers this summer in my mind. Get familiar with them now as they will blow up and have big senior seasons. </p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Jhedane is the definition of a sleeper in my mind and will surprise people come this fall. Standing 6'6" with 34 1/2" arms, an 84" wingspan and 11" hands, he is a mountain at tackle. Jhedane is a powerful player, lots of upper body strength, when he gets into defenders chest it is over. While drive guys out of the the frame nad put them in the dirt. He shows the ability to be effective in both the run and pass game. He fires out and is capable of getting to the second level. In pass pro, Jhedane gets a good vertical pass set with a forceful kick step, and can sink and set. He still has development to do, plays a bit high, needs to work on his flexibility and lower body strength. However those are common areas on development for young players his size and I only see his game improving. A team captain and good student as well, Jhedane holds a 3.0 GPA and scored a 1210 on the SAT. He currently holds a D2 offer which he picked up at the PG County Showcase the other week. With this size and strength, the more coaches get eyes on him this summer and with a strong start to his senior season plenty more offers will come Jhedane's way. </p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/WJhedane/status/1730055049898774703 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">A player I was able to see this again this spring, Delmar does hold a handful of FCS offers but still feel he is a sleeper prospect and should be getting Power interest. Delmar is a yoked up 307lbs. and carries the weight really well. He is all muscle with huge arms and a great lower half. During spring workouts I saw him being very fluid in his movements, is able to re-direct and shift his weight quickly with limited loss of momentum. He is high level athlete for his position and size. Delmar displays good burst & explosiveness in both his hips and feet. He is able to generate a lot of power, using his wide thick build, strength and quickness to shed off blockers and power his way into the backfield. This skill set makes sense when you learn Delmar is also a National level wrestler, and MIAA heavyweight wrestling champion. With his high motor, hard working, explosive and physical play style I see Delmar as todays prototypical interior DL.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Elijah has a lot of traits you like to see in a CB...tall, long and rangy. With a 76" wingspan and real fluid hips he is able to get his hands on a lot of passes. He shows the ability to stay in phase with the WR and break on the ball at the right moment. Elijah is very smooth in his play, shows good instincts and understanding of positioning. That leads to him having great ball skills and always being in the right spot to make the play on the pass. This allows him to be effective in plays in both press & off coverage and adding versatility to his play style. Elijah currently holds 1 FCS offer and I see more coming in his future.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Elijahmathis111 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Timi is an OL Coach's dream with how he plays the game! He comes with the nasty, physicality, motor and toughness that you can't teach. This showed this past season as he gave up 0 sacks on the year and made All Conference OL. Timi is 6'2+ with a good strong build and a nice wingspan at 80 3/4". He has great OL utility, playing every position along the line but I like him best as a OG at the next level. He has the ability to pull/get out in space, and watch out when he does becomes he comes at you like train and will look to destroy defenders. He has the strength and power through his hips to knock defenders back and drive them out the frame. Timi also shows the ability to sink and lock out in pass protection. Getting into the defenders chest with full extension and keeping them at distance. Timi is multi sport athlete as well, throwing shot-put and even running the 100m in track. He currently carries 1 FCS offer and I don't see how he doesn't pick up more this summer with his approach to the game.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/TimiOsibodu </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Zakai is a prospect I feel is under the radar to a lot of people and someone I can't wait to see more of myself. This is partly due to him being a high level basketball player avg. 20pts 4ast 4stls and 7reb. per game. That alone shows the type of athlete Zakai is. Having nice height and length he is a do it all athlete on the football field, playing QB/WR/RB/DB for JM Bennett. Zakai is a fluid player, a galloping long strider when running he eats up grass. A great leaper, he goes up and gets the ball, dynamic with the ball in his hands he shows some smooth wiggle. Not afraid of contact either, Zakai plays fast and physical, will run the alley on defense and lay a hit. There is a lot of potential in Zakai's game and as he continues to develop I think he will up a lot of eyes and colleges will fall in love with his skill set. Zakai currently hold 1 FCS offer but has a chance to add to that this summer at 1 day camps.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/0mgkai </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Quinn is a great size player and great academic prospect, he should be on a lot of schools radars with this combo. Standing 6'6" with an 80" wingspan and holding a 4.0 GPA with a 1520 SAT he has what colleges look for on and off the field. Quinn is a multi sport athlete playing rugby as well so you know he has the toughness. An all conference DE, Quinn finished the year with double digit sacks at 11.5 sacks total. Explosive off the edge, Quinn has nice bend and burst. He has power through his hips allowing him to stack and shed and get to the ball. With a strong motor and instincts, Quinn is able to find the ball quickly and get a lot of knocks downs with his length. While being 240lbs. now, he has a great frame that will fill out and bulk up nicely once he gets in a college weight program.
