Setting The Table At The First Academy

With all the amazing football teams in the state of Florida, perhaps the team that captured the headline in the off-season is Orlando Ther First Academy.   What head coach Jeff Conaway and his staff have done to lay a solid foundation is indeed something special as the Royals are making a push to make plenty of noise this season as well as into the future and attempt to dent a classification that Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna has dominated for much of the decade.   Speaking of the coaching staff, Conaway has surrounded himself with a full staff and some impressive assistants – such as Steve Moffett (Assistant Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, QB Coach), Chris Bryant (WR Coach, Special Teams), Chris Miller (OL/RB), Chad Mavety (OL), Mike Hebert (RB/TE), Jacob Gill (Defensive Coordinator), Corey Broomfield (Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Backs), Chris Mitchell (Safeties), Jordan Richards (OLB), Lee Bennett (ILB) and defensive line coach Nate St. Clair.   Coming off a 6-4 season, this program will hit the ground with some talented faces this season – as powers Orlando Edgewater, Sanford Seminole, and Clearwater Calvary Christian to name a few.
