A South Georgia prospect on the rise who continues to reel in major offers, Lamons Jr. is a big, sure-handed pass-catcher with an excellent 6-foot-4 190-pound frame who earned an offer from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs this week. He's quickly becoming one of the hottest prospects in Georgia for the 2027 class and will only get better over the next three years. He's a weapon in the red-zone who can be a complete mismatch in single coverage. He runs well for his size and can be tough to bring down by one defender after the catch. He sure didn't play, or look like a freshman last year and should see plenty of passes come his way next fall as a sophomore. If he continues to develop and works on creating separation, Lamons Jr. has a chance to be one of the very best receivers/tight ends across the South, and possibly the country, for the 2027 class. He has the frame, hands, and big-play ability that college coaches covet, and his potential was easy to see last fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='378967' first='Cole' last='Crawford'] - LB - Cartersville

One of the top young overall athletes in the state, Crawford is a multi-sport standout who can shine on the baseball diamond as well as the gridiron. His football recruitment is taking off right now, and he earned an offer from the mighty Ohio State Buckeyes after a big camp performance in front of the staff earlier this week. Crawford is a big linebacker for his age at 6-foot-3 210-pounds who will only get better as he continues to add more muscle and mass over the next three years at Cartersville. A promising defender who knows how to run and hit, Crawford is a sure tackler with enough athleticism to play both inside or outside. He shows a high football IQ with the ability to catch and block as a hybrid tight end. He was among the top freshman defenders in the state last year as he made 33 tackles, five TFLs and two sacks. On offense, Crawford caught five passes for 79 yards. He's ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 6 overall prospect in the state and more offers will likely come his way sooner than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='1214574' first='Tyler' last='Ford'] - OL - Gainesville

The 2027 class in Georgia is loaded with impressive offensive line prospects, and Ford is quickly becoming one of the best. A giant young man already at 6-foot-5 315-pounds, Ford is a massive young prospect with natural strength and the ability to dominate at the point of attack. He can overpower opposing defenders with ease, and will be even better as he continues to refine his body the right way. He plays at an outstanding program right now and has really shined on the camp circuit, adding several majob offers this month. He recently earned a new Power Four offer from the Florida State Seminoles and more are likely heading his way. He's a bully who can dominate against the run, with the potential of turning into one of the state's top pass-protectors in the 2027 class. As good as he already is, look for Ford to dominate as a sophomore and beyond starting this fall. Look for him to make a big boost in the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings as well.
