<p>Boyd held ten Power Five offers – Northwestern, Kansas, Brigham Young, Indiana, Arizona, Minnesota, Purdue, Kansas State, Cincinnati, and Iowa State.</p>

<p>Ultimately, Boyd fulfilled a life-long dream – playing in the Big Ten. Last month, he committed to Northwestern.</p>

<p>"It was between Northwestern and Kansas for about a month. Looking at both, I saw a bunch of great things. The ones that put Northwestern over the top were the education and the culture. Also, I have wanted to be in the Big Ten ever since I was little. I believe it has the best competition, and that will only make me better."</p>
