The matchups were full of standouts and eye-catchers — from high-profile college prospects to new faces catching our attention for the first time. Here are notes on a handful, including at least one representative from each school.

[player_tooltip player_id='1336724' first='Keon' last='Coverson'] — 5-11, 175 DB/ATH — Central (Baton Rouge) (2025)

The rising senior snatched an immediate interception to help set the tone for a solid showing by the Wildcats' defensive backs group overall and added multiple additional pass break-ups throughout the morning.

[player_tooltip player_id='913906' first='Rancher' last='Miller'] — 6-0, 180 DB — Denham Springs (2025)

The senior leader of the Yellow Jackets' secondary snatched at least one deep interception in the end zone during the course of the team's three matchups, showcasing his coverage and ball skills to go with his physicality that might be his biggest strength.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224580' first='Jacob' last='Robinson'] — 6-1, 230 LB — Ponchatoula (2025)

The big linebacker was one of the most physically imposing young athletes on the field Wednesday morning, which fits nicely with the rest of the Green Wave's stout front-seven group in true football settings. And at his size, Robinson still covered notable ground in the middle of the defense, getting sideline to sideline for stops and carrying running backs deep down the middle of the field in coverage.

[player_tooltip player_id='710974' first='Jarvis' last='Washington'] — 6-5, 180 WR — Dunham (2026)

The multisport Madison Prep transfer made a few catches for the Tigers — among a handful of weapons to receive consistent targets from star quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='642719' first='Elijah' last='Haven'] — as he continues to work into rhythm with his new program and teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='710977' first='Keithon' last='Womack'] — 6-1, WR/ATH — Central (Baton Rouge) (2026)

Our 6-1 listing may actually be underselling the rising junior, who looks poised to be a major weapon for quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='426968' first='Jackson' last='Firmin'] and the Wildcats' offense with his combination of speed and size. During Wednesday's session, Womack helped stretch the field vertically and also made sure-handed catches in stride on intermediate routes.
