Minot State Big Man Camp Standouts: Part III

MINOT, ND-- We take our final look of live evaluations from the Minot State Big Man Camp as we round out with plenty of high upside prospects in this group, position flexibility, great work ethics and much more in these camp reports.    Caleb was a prospect that has a good upside to climb to be a great small school fit at the next-level. In the live evaluation, I thought Caleb lacked the strength I was expecting to see, but was more equipt with his speed and agility around the edges which showed from the early session into Indy, and later into 1v1s. Caleb mostly showed reps at defensive end, however I believe his next-level ceiling sits higher at offensive line as there is plenty of size you could add to this young man.     Tayton certainly impressed me with his early strength in testing as he put up some of the highest bench press reps at the Minot State Big Man Camp and was certainly one of the smaller defensive ends in attendance. What I saw on the field was consistent with what I saw in the gym as Tayton was the top dog in the 20 yard sprint too which certainly correlated to the bulk of 1v1s I watched. Tayton showed off level hands and he impressed me with his technique and quick growth I saw learning from the Minot staff with growing that technique especially with his pursuit angles. Tayton seems to be one on the rise amongst North Dakota 2026s and would be a kid I would go to bat for that you go outside the measurables for, as Tayton much like his twin brother show off a great work ethic.     Although his day ended early, Grand Forks Red River 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1185199' first='Jacob' last='Foss'] still did catch my eye for his skillsets at the Minot State Big Man Camp. What stood was the footwork, as he showed off a more flexible hip turn and hip drive than I expected to see, as this was my first crack at him as a live evaluation. He sat middle of the road in testing, but one that I felt the eye-test did more justice as the upside does pop out. <a href="https://x.com/Jacobfoss05">Twitter</a>     Out of our Prep Redzone market but yet was one of the top offensive linemen I saw in Minot was Dawson County's Haven Wade. The physicality and blue-collar work ethic that Haven brought on every rep was very consistent as he was a certified mauler that played with great finish. At 6'1 260 pounds, Haven was structurally sound with his pad-level as well as his sound leverage. He certainly is a big time sleeper out of Montana.     One prospect that has some intriguing skillsets on both sides, and in my eyes found a great home for his next-level position in the end was Duluth Denfeld's Rajon Gamble. The North Shore prospect, started his day on the defensive line, but man making the adjustment towards the end of the camp did this kid wonders of probable more scholarship money in the offensive trenches. Rajon was sound with his footwork, balance, and I felt from start to finish of camp got coached up and found his rhythm with his pad-level and leverage. No doubt the Hunters have another solid 2025 prospect that I like his next-level odds.      Another Montana mauler from the defensive trenches I got my first look of in Minot was Isaac Tolan of Great Falls. The 6'1 250 pounder, was the swifter of the two Montanans and the strongest prospect overall in the bench press, in which he crossed off my eyes for his strength too. Isaac showed off elusive shedding hands that were instinctive on his release point of attack. Sure seems like Isaac has grown a ton since looking at his junior tape, and with great size, agility, and more, as Isaac is yet another sleeper out of Montana that surprises me he only has one offer thus far this camp season.
