From the a border city from the lakes of Minnesota to the Roughrider State, we take a look at 2025 sleepers, just about every prospect that has next-level potential, great locker-room fits for the Beavers, and much more from Minot!
Rylan showed off one of the higher upsides amongst the entire group in Minot. What stuck out most was his coachability, as time after time Rylan turned a good rep into a great rep by the end of camp due to him quickly picking up the Beaver’s coaching staff with his attention to detail. I saw his technique and angle to the ball grow with ease in Minot as I thought since seeing him in Jamestown, Rylan has gotten more fluid with his hands. I was a huge fan of this young man’s character too, as he picked up every kid that had a subpar rep with his great motivation. He is one that I feel would be an excellent fit in Minot is one of two from EGF that popped out in Beavers Country.

One of our top offensive linemen in 2026 in attendance in Minot was

of Mandan. Although he showed to be raw with his footwork, there is no doubt that this young man can pack a punch and quickly. Nathan I saw growth during camp with his pad-level as no question, the dude has a lot of strength but I felt attacking his hands in the right spot was more beneficial the deeper we got into camp. The tape is somewhat light on Nathan, but man that Saturday ceiling is certainly there.

From one of my first live looks at Kodee in Minot, I was impressed with his lower body length for his frame as he hit some long strides that showed off his flexibility within his skill sets. He also showed good instinct within his first step. Kodee showed off great control with his hands and I have seen his finish get better from what his junior tape shows. He doubt showed off a OL prospect that can play at the next level and one that plays with a blue-collar demeanor which is what you want in the trenches.

No prospect in Minot at his 6’1 255 pound size ran the 20-yard sprint as fast as Messi Kalenda of East Grand Forks ran a couple Saturdays back. How fluid and how light Messi looked on his feet during the reps I watched at Minot State proved how under the radar this kid really is. His first step shows off plenty of flare and he won a bunch of reps in Minot with that and his barreling hands he is developing. Best position fit for Messi is defensive tackle, but he has position flexibility. I swear if Messi was in the Twin Cities, no doubt he would have a bunch of offers right now but somehow just sits with one NISC offer so far which should change quickly.
Although one of the youngest in attendance, I thought Dreyson was one that grew from camp start to end. I was especially impressed towards the end of camp in drills with how tight Dreyson’s angle had gotten from his 1st attempts to his last in similar position drills. As a 2027 DL prospect, Dreyson has some development in my eyes with his fire off the ball as he wins reps quite a bit with his aggressive hands but I think with his current frame could win more with growing his first step. An early 2027 to know right up the road at Minot High.
