DINKYTOWN-- Find out who made my Part II list of standouts from the Minnesota Gophers prospect camp on Monday, June 17th. Talk about depth, from future stars in 2028, a 2027 class that is growing on me, a JUCO product that stood out, and one the biggest getters in Dinkytown as far as scholarship money last Monday night in 1v1s outside of the new Minnesota commit.

Talk about a young man that was putting defensive backs in a cooker and roasting them with his twitch, that was what I constantly saw from the only 2028 prospect I had on my radar in wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='470192' first='Ashton' last='Taylor'] hailing from my old stomping grounds of Louisville, Kentucky. The Louisville Trinity freshmen to be, won plenty of reps against older and bigger competition and the length that he was able to create with his seperation showed that he was unphased by the challenge as a constant winner in 1v1s in Dinkytown. Heck of a bright future coming for this young man, as I will be keeping my eyes out in the 2028 class in the 502 for Ashton.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306596' first='Hudson' last='Clarksean'], LB, Mankato West, MN 2027 Twitter

One of Minnesota's most impressive 2027s we watched in attendance in Dinkytown was Mankato West linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1306596' first='Hudson' last='Clarksean']. Hudson is one that passed out eye test right away and tested well at each station I got to watch him at as the numbers he put up where I watched were above the threshold for his age. In Indy drills, Hudson showed off to be very instinctive for his age as he made some clean downhill cuts to the ball that shows really great skillsets that are coming and one glimpse at that tape, had me surprised as this kid just clings the ball at middle linebacker and is one I will already say has a next-level ceiling.

[player_tooltip player_id='244980' first='Ryder' last='Vylasek'], LB, Rogers, MN 2025 Twitter

Ryder feels like a 2025 linebacker I have covered for years already, but the young man still further left a further impression with his skillsets at the Minnesota Camp last Monday in Dinkytown. The 6'0 190 pounder from Rogers showed off excellent physicality in his hands from the Indy reps I got to watch as the instinct Ryder has grown even since watching him last season has gotten even better. Ryder even played with even more feist and great attention to detail in tighter windows I felt at the Gopher camp that is due for a sound senior season. He certainly is a linebacker that you can certainly add some frame to at the next-level, as Ryrder just picked up his first WIAC offer the other day.

Niko Morgan, QB, Chanhassen, MN 2026 Twitter

A new 2026 quarterback prospect from that popped out in Dinkytown was new Chanhassen 2026 quarterback Niko Morgan who just made the move to Minnesota from Park City, UT. In watching Niko throw, I saw plenty of balance with his arm strength and his quick release. Niko showed good poise as well from my eyes inside the pocket. He is one that would intrigue me more with his development in weight room and with a QB coach, tuning his upper body to gain more fluid accuracy and more arm depth on intermediate and deep routes. Niko still has some rawness to his game, but there is certainly some grooming that can further his skillsets with a couple years of high school football left in his arsenal.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633468' first='Parish' last='Jackson'], OL, Robbinsdale Cooper, MN 2027 Twitter

Parish stood out quickly with his overall frame at the Minnesota Camp, as I was also surprised to find out this frame exists for him just being a freshmen at Robbinsdale Cooper. The 6'1 315 pounder, is a OL that is a work in progress but we certainly found some skillsets that impressed us. Where Parish caught my attention with his footwork was just how fast his foot speed was for his size and at his age. Although at times he wasn't as balanced as I would prefer him to be, I thought the speed of his footwork showed off to be intriguing. Parish is a 2027 prospect that I will certainly be tracking his development over the coming years at Cooper.

Makhi Jackson, RB, NDSCS, ND 2025 Twitter

Makhi is a running back I recall from his days at Madison LaFollette, as one of the JUCO prospects that left an impression at the Minnesota Camp. Makhi impressed me during 1v1s with how much he has grown with his hands since his Lancer days and the fluidity in Makhi's change of direction was certainly another bright skillset he brought to Dinkytown. Not to mention he appeared well-balanced in the footwork department from my eyes watching his multiple reps. If you are looking for a good small school tailback college coaches, you might want to take a good look at Makhi.

[player_tooltip player_id='479373' first='Michael' last='Bruggers'], DL, Champlin Park, MN 2025 Twitter

1v1s are where you make your scholarship money at college camps no doubt about it, and for Champlin Park's [player_tooltip player_id='479373' first='Michael' last='Bruggers'] at the Minnesota Camp, there was multiple offers made after camp for what he showed off during those. Michael was relentless on every rep and was constantly on point with his pad-level and very quick shedding hands that just I swear got better and better rep after rep and I watched a lot of his reps. The football IQ of Michael's certainly struck a nerve with those watching has he made some of his reps look like clock work going up against mostly bigger competiion on the offensive line. Picked up offers from St. Thomas and Mankato after camp, and I would be remissed that I know this kid isn't done yet.

These are some prospects I had quick notes on from the Minnesota camp on Monday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1160929' first='Ayden' last='Gonzalez'], LB, Lakeville South, MN 2025 Twitter

Every college coach wants a linebacker that finishes thru on every rep at camp, and that was the case with Lakeville South's [player_tooltip player_id='1160929' first='Ayden' last='Gonzalez'] at the Minnesota camp from my eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id='592232' first='Brady' last='Struble'], OL, Rosemount, MN 2026 Twitter

Brady showed off some of the biggest hands amongst 2026 offensive linemen at camp and he looked all the part of 6'3 290 pounds that I saw prior to camp. Even with that frame, while watching Brady I certainly saw a bigger frame that could be grown into Brady in the coming years as one that showed great athleticism for his size. Tape shows extremely vicious hands and great footwork thus far.
