RIVER FALLS-- My book of standout reports at my first experience at the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp in River Falls is now closed with this final report, and man are we ending on a high note. 2026s on the rise and with FBS offers already, 2027s with great upside, 2025 camp splashers at the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp, and more in incoming of this beast of a final list of standouts from UWRF.

Landon was a 2026 offensive line prospect that passed my mid-camp eye test in River Falls. The 6'3 220 pounder, stood out with his fluidity with his change of direction as one that has certainly has some good frame he can add up the road as a junior to be. The first step Landon showed off too at Minnesconsin, as he showed off good-pad level that you can tell from the live eval and tape that he shows the engage with his feet to get quick leverage at the point of attack. One to know in Wisconsin's 2026 class for sure.

Chase Larson, RB, Waukesha West, WI 2027 Twitter

A new 2027 name out of Wisconsin that caught my eyes in River Falls was Waukesha West running back Chase Larson. Chase popped out early in testing with his broad jump showing plenty of explosion for his age as there certainly is a ceiling for growth over the coming years for it to improve. The 5'10 150 pounder, shows off to be more durable than you would expect for that frame but that explosion I saw out of contact shows out on his JV tape. He also shows good patience for his age waiting for his blockers on the outside to create space as he shows good athletic movement. A 2027 from Waukesha to know in the coming years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1303653' first='Kyreese' last='White'], RB, Appleton East, WI 2025 Twitter

One of the running back and skill positions top testers across the board in River Falls was Appleton East's [player_tooltip player_id='1303653' first='Kyreese' last='White']. Kyreese showed off an elusive trigger that caught the eyes of a handful of college coaches we knew in attendance as this kid's acceleration hits the gas so quickly on the field. No question his track speed correlates well to the football field as despite all the speed at his disposal Kyreese did a great job at Minnesconsin with his balance as the athleticism he has shows off a RB that you definitely should go outside the measurables for.

Braden Daubige, LB, Rochester John Marshall, MN 2026 Twitter

Another 2026 that cracked my standouts list in Part IV was 6'1 200 pound linebacker Braden Daubige of Rochester. Holy smokes did this young man play with some finesse on every rep I got to watch at Minnesconsin, as he used every ounce of stamina he had to finish his reps with plenty of finish in his steps. Its no question why his finish stuck out as when you get a look at his tape that motor I saw in River Falls is a near perfect match of what the tape shows for this junior to be. He plays with a great motor and would love to see more tape with how he gets off his blocks to grow his tape even further. I'll be intrigued to check out Braden's junior tape upcoming!

Grady Hatlestad, LB, Mankato West, MN 2025 Twitter

Another southern Minnesota lineback that impressed was Grady Hatlestad of Mankato West. The 6'2 205 pounder, was certainly a linebacker prospect that impressed me with how well he used and showed off his length in River Falls as I would be intrigued to find out where his wingspan would appear numbers wise. Grady's athletic movement looked sound at Minnesconsin as the later we got into drills I was drawn to his attention to detail. He was another prospect that was pressed with good balance and attacked the hip nicely in the reps I watched. The vision I saw in River Falls is a match on tape as the fluidity this young man moves with shows off great instincts. The Scarlets are loaded in 2025, and Grady is one that is still looking for that first offer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1201980' first='Michael' last='Kelecic'], LB, St. Thomas Academy, MN 2025 Twitter

Coming out of the hotbed of St. Thomas Academy coached by my good friend Travis Walch, is yet another linebacker that popped out via the eye test and more in River Falls. The 6'3 225 pounder had all the length you want for the linebacker position and was very impressive in 1v1s with how well-versed his ball-tracking abilty was for that size. Michael also was proficent with his footwork and his balance drew my attention too, as that portion of his live eval translates well on tape. Michael is a LB I would have offered yesterday as he is more under the radar than he should be.

[player_tooltip player_id='743246' first='Brayden' last='Shafer'], QB, Princeton, MN 2025 Twitter

It is always a good sign when a prospect pops out not once but twice in the early part of summer camp season, as that was the case with Princeton quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='743246' first='Brayden' last='Shafer']. After an impressive outing at the Crown Elite Camp, Brayden exceled in River Falls as you can see the quick development he is making this summer, as Brayden threw with balanced arm strength from short to deep routes and especially showed it on intermeidate routes in River Falls. He picked up his first offer on June 1st, and I have no doubt he will get more looks especially around the UMAC, MIAC, and possibly the WIAC as a quarterback that has rose his stock since I first got my eye on him a couple years ago working with 612Qs.

The former Chanhassen Storm product who recently made the family move to DC Everest in Northern Wisconsin, made a great impression with a position change to wide receiver at the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp. The 6'4 195 pounder, showed off all of that length at his disposal during 1v1s in River Falls and caught my attention with his vertical as a wide receiver prospect that is just getting started in the receiving core and I love the upside he brings. Nevin also popped out with his route running, as there was more polish than you would expect with the recency of changing positions. College coaches saw what I saw too, as Nevin locked in an offer from one of the top programs in NAIA and is sure to get more looks this summer with all that size he brings to the table.

[player_tooltip player_id='383799' first='Sam' last='Glendenning'], DL, Kaukauna, WI 2025 Twitter

The 5'10 270 pound defensive tackle from Kaukauna is one that although is slightly undersized, made a great impression on me at the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp. Sam's agile hands were an eye-popper in what I saw in River Falls, as the speed and finesse he brought with them certainly engaged well with my first live eval of him. He showed off a good athletic bend as well which filled out nicely with his frame as a nose guard. Sam is certainly one that would be a great fit in the WIAC in my eyes and could gain even some attention in the NSIC for those that recruit Wisconsin. Sam is an NT target I would go outside the measurables for.

Carson is a Prep Redzone Minnesota Combine veteran, that it was great to see the strides of development the 6'2 235 pounder from Maple Grove has made over the last year or so. Holy smokes has Carson grown with the strength he has in his hands as on of the last reps of camp, he held one of defenders he went up against hostage with how dominate he was at the point of attack with also showing instinctive footwork along the way. Carson's football IQ has flourished over the past 12 months and he made the impression in River Falls where it coounted, with college coaches surrounding Super surprised how under the radar Carson still is, as one that you can add quite a bit of frame to and certainly gets a next-level grade from me.

Caleb Wetherell, OL, Cochrane, AB 2025 Twitter

Making the very long trip all the way from Alberta and a new Canadian on my radar that left an impression was Caleb Wetherell of Cochrane, Alberta. Caleb showed off all of his 6'4 280 pound frame in the 1v1 reps I watched at the end of camp in River Falls and was not only long, but very effective with his reach showing off good pad-level. Caleb has showed off enormous hands that has a punch on tape that makes you feel slightly sorry for the defenders he punches in the mouth. He is one that has that mean-streak and finish I love in the offensive trenches and can develop further with his footwork. Man, am I surprised no school in Canada has pulled the trigger on an offer yet for this kid as he is severly under the radar.

An up and coming 2026 offensive linemen that popped out in River Falls to me was 6'0 290 pound [player_tooltip player_id='948113' first='Ryan' last='Pratt'] out of Kettle Moraine. Ryan in 1v1 reps, showed off hand positioning that you can tell showed off the football IQ to adjust quickly on the fly and won the rep with the changed hand-position in the end. Split time between JV and Varsity last year at Kettle Moraine, and is a center that I would love to check out after the 2024 football season to see the change of speed he makes with his foot speed. He certainly shows off a OL prospect that will block until the whistle blows like he saw in River Falls, and is one to track in the state of Wisconsin's 2026 class with next-level upside.

Zach caught eyes at our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Combine this Spring, and caught my attention too at the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp especially during 1v1s. Golly, does this young man play with excellent instincts, and it is even more shocking that the 6'3 235 pounder is just going to be a junior coming out of tiny Boyceville in Western Wisconsin. Loved Zach's wins in 1v1s with his pad-level and forceful get off with his sheds as being in instinct is one thing, but when I throw the word super instinctive like I did in River Falls that is even more glowing of how impressed I was with his instincts in the rep I caught. Zach also plays with incredible finesse and is so wirey when he comes off the snap. He certainly is a small-town hidden gem that I would toss a Division I grade and especially would be a great fit to those Dakotas schools in the Missouri Valley.

Have you noticed over the last several years that some of best prospects in the Midwest, start their journey at Prep Redzone Combines? That is the case with our Spring DL MVP in the Dakotas, Karter Moody of Groton. Even over a few short months, I have seen Karter's growth which was especially seen in River Falls within his footwork during 1v1s. His get off has gotten smoother, as has his fluidity off the ball which we saw at the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp. The Dakotas DL2 in the 2026 class, has been a man on a mission this camp season to put himself at the small town of Groton, SD on the map as Karter should be an early offer in the next handful of months.

"Save the best for last," is a common phrase that is said a ton everyday, as I feel that is certainly the case with who I thought was the best defensive linemen at the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp which was Canadian 2026 defensive linemen Linkin Zylstra. I can't say his dominance didn't surprise me either, as this was not the first time I was impressed me with Linkin in a camp setting, as I recall him as a name to know at the Minnesota Camp a year or two ago already. He made reps look too easy in River Falls winning with incredibly instinct hands which I remowember saying to myself looked like clockwork with how dominant he was in 1v1s. There is also not too many prospects out there that have a football tatted to their arm which shows to me how dedicated the the game Linkin really is. Three FBS offers, and I without doubt that Linkin will have double that or more in the next-year or less.
