The Wolverines signed a Louisiana prospect in 2022 for the first time in more than a decade and now have another committed to heading to Ann Arbor, Mich., with the announcement of Parker. The big, physical Archbishop Shaw running back is among the state's top-ranked rising seniors and should be a good fit for the Big Ten powerhouse.

[player_tooltip player_id='914092' first='Davian' last='Jackson'] — 6-2, 170 ATH — Westgate (2025) —> Mississippi State

A pair of Louisiana's top prospects — multisport standouts with track athleticism — announced commitments Sunday to LSU's SEC West rival Mississippi State. Both Jackson and Shepard have played primarily on offense, but have shown the potential to make plays in all three phases — with the former in particular working on his defensive back technique this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='710081' first='Jacob' last='Bradford'] — 6-0, 190 DB — Catholic (Baton Rouge) (2025) —> Houston

Former Tulane coach Willie Fritz and company made another big splash in The Boot with the announcement Sunday by the standout Catholic (Baton Rouge) cornerback, one of the best in the state's 2025 class, over a long list of other options that includes Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Tulane and Louisiana Tech.

[player_tooltip player_id='144896' first='Julius' last='Moss'] — 5-9, 185 RB/ATH — Calvary Baptist (2025) —> Air Force

The versatile, three-phase standout for the state champion Cavaliers announced his commitment to UAB in early November. But Air Force continued to recruit and build its relationships with Moss, then wowed him on a recent visit that helped solidify his flip to the Falcons' 2025 class this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='710088' first='Dy'Traevous' last='Lively'] — 5-10, 215 LB — Westgate (2025) —> Central Arkansas

The Bears dipped into Louisiana this past week to draw a commitment from the hyper-productive Westgate linebacker. "Spida" has flown around the field the past two seasons racking up one of the state's top tackle totals for perennial power, while also providing a physical weapon in the running game on the other side of the ball.
