The OAA White has been one of the best leagues in the state for a few years now. Harper Woods and Southfield A&T both won state championships last year, Groves has been knocking at the door of Ford Field for a while now, and Rochester + Stoney Creek have had great success in the recent past. This league is jam-packed with talent, and I'm looking forward to uncovering the hidden talent in this league over the next couple of days.

Last season, Noah had himself a breakout season. During the past few months, he's garnered a ton of high-GLIAC and FBS attention. The biggest draw is his self-reported 4.4 speed. Self-reported testing statistics can be hit or miss, but I believe him based on the film. (Athletic.net says he runs a 10.94 100M, so that converts to a 4.5). A lot of running backs have solid enough vision to follow their blocks and get to the second level. However, few have the top-end speed to outrun the secondary and reach the endzone. That said, he's a pure speed/elusive running back. In an ideal world, I would love to see Noah put on some more muscle and get better at his contact balance, but he'll surely develop that skillset in college. Even so, his overall balance is good for someone his size. I'm looking forward to seeing where Noah ends up, and I'm esthetic to watch him play next season.

It seems like Dominic served as a solid role-player on both sides of the ball last season. As a defensive back, he was able to reliably stop the run even against outside run-heavy teams like Seaholm. I would have liked to see a bit more variety and aggression with his defensive film, but he showed enough to think he can take a leap in his Junior season. Offensively, he was utilized as a lead blocker and did well in that role. I know there's more in his game, and now that Dominic is heading into his Junior season, I expect him to take a step up.

Man, oh, man. For a freshman defensive end prospect, I love his tape. Although the film is just a touch short, one potentially elite trait Cory holds is his motor and play speed. I see a lot of defensive linemen struggle with making an effort through the whistle, but several highlights in Cory's tape wouldn't have happened without his effort. For instance, the highlight at 1:24 showcases that effort alongside great reaction time and play speed. Speaking of play speed, every single play showcases incredible play speed. Cory explodes off the line of scrimmage and oftentimes is able to blow by the opposing lineman. The one major knock I can mention is his size. 5'9" 190 is obviously not ideal for an EDGE rusher, but he may still have time to grow and build more muscle. Regardless, Cory is going to be a phenomenal high school football player for a long time and I can't wait to see what he's able to accomplish next season.

At the JV level, Anderson was a solid running back and has an opportunity to improve tremendously heading into his Junior season. The play at 0:38 is very promising. After breaking a tackle in the backfield, Anderson sped forward, broke another tackle, and turned a 4-yard loss into a 33-yard touchdown. The rest of his film continues to show good vision, speed, and solid contact balance. With just a bit more work in the weight room plus speed training, he can develop into a great varsity running back. Time will tell how he fares at the Varsity level, and I hope to see him do well at the next level this Fall.

Brandon had a few great moments last season, mostly as an off-ball middle linebacker. He had an especially great game against Rochester. In that game, he racked up several tackles defending the inside run. In other games, Brandon repped a bit at tight end and h-back. All in all, I don't have too much else to say about Brandon's tape other than he'll be on my radar moving forward, and he's a potential breakout candidate this Fall.

Kenneth showed a ton of promise last season and is looking to take a major step up next season. He was a solid off-ball outside and middle linebacker last season. In terms of IQ, he reads the field decently well but struggles with decisiveness once he diagnoses the play. With better play speed and aggression, Kenneth would absolutely take off. There are a few plays where he shows good physicality and block shedding. He may end up on the Rankings Watch List in a month, and I hope to see him improve in several areas next fall.
