Film Review: 2025 Quarterbacks Outside the 200s To Check Out

He does an excellent job of reading defenses and delivering the football. His mechanics and footwork are both good in the pocket. Myers also does a good job of throwing the ball in tight windows. He also shows a good ability to throw the ball on the run, especially on designed pass play. His ability to make plays inside and outside the pocket is impressive. As a pocket passer, he does a nice job of sitting in the pocket and throwing the ball. When the play breaks down he shows how special he is as a quarterback. He can scramble around and make plays with his feet. He does a great job of scrambling to find receivers downfield open. He is also a good runner as well. He is equally as good as a runner as he is as a thrower. As a runner, he is physical and hard to bring down. He had one of the best rushing touchdowns I have ever seen. He did a QB sneak from the one-yard line and rushed for a 99-yard touchdown. He initially was just trying to gain a few yards for breathing room and then broke through the initial line of scrimmage and raced to the end zone. He showed his physical rushing ability and his speed on that play. He also is a good thrower of the football. He has excellent mechanics and good footwork. As a runner he is equally as good on designed run plays as he is scrambling around to make a play. When the play breaks down he seems at his best when he can scramble around to find someone open. In the pocket, he shows a good arm and excellent feet. He has good mechanics and a good arm. Ferguson is a good football player who knows how to make plays inside and outside the pocket. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='469425' first='Frank' last='Hoogerwerff'] is a classic pocket quarterback for Avon Grove. He does a good job of sitting in the pocket and finding open receivers. He does a nice job of reading the defense and finding the open receiver. He almost always knows where he wants to go with the ball. When the play breakdown Hoogerwerff does a nice job of scrambling to gain extra yards or to find an open receiver. Hoogerwerff has all the tools as a pocket quarterback. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='599046' first='Chase' last='Taddonio'] is a true dual-threat quarterback for Riverside. As a runner, he has a great ability to find the opening and explode through the hole. He shows great patience in designed runs, where he will make a fake and then explode through the hole. As a thrower of the football, he has a good arm and good mechanics. He does a good job on deep balls by setting his feet and putting enough air on the ball. Taddonio is a good dual-threat quarterback. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1131230' first='Logan' last='Olsommer'] is the rare under-center quarterback for Delaware Valley. The offense features a ton of under-center I-Offense plays. He does a good job of making his run fakes and then delivering a good football. He is excellent at faking the run setting his feet and throwing a deep ball. He is also good on a variety of fake and then rolling out and finding an open receiver. He also showed an ability to run options by reading his keys and taking off with the football as well. Olsommer is a good quarterback </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='281312' first='Kal-El' last='Durham'] is the 578-ranked player in the class, but he plays at a much higher level. He has elite athletic ability. He has good athleticism and can make defenders miss inside and outside the pocket. When he takes off he just runs past defenders. As a thrower of the football, he has legit tools. He has a good arm and does a nice job of putting touch on the ball. He has good mechanics and his footwork is good as well.
