I attended the East Central camp held at Parkway West last weekend. I'll be doing a breakdown of some of the standouts at camp I had the chance to observe starting with the quarterbacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1117607' first='Hoyt' last='Gregory'] 2025 QB North Point
- Talented D1 caliber QB was his typical self throwing dimes and running the offense to perfection. Gregory is a dual threat quarterback with a complete game that includes making good reads and going through his progressions to find the open man. At (6'3" 210) with all the tools colleges look for in a signal-caller, it's no wonder he had multiple schools vying for his services. Hoyt committed to Lindenwood University this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='926017' first='Brett' last='Ottensmeyer'] 2026 QB Parkway West
- Ottensmeyer (6'3" 175) just continues to impress me with his overall development and specifically his footwork, release and overall technique as well as how well he spins in. He also looks advanced in his reads and decision making along with accuracy and delivering the ball

[player_tooltip player_id='1130992' first='Jonathan' last='Moore'] 2027 Lutheran North
- Moore (6'0" 201) is the man now at QB with the departure of [player_tooltip player_id='188600' first='Dakarri' last='Hollis'], and he looked very ready for the challenge of leading his team and running a new offense. Jonathan is another true dual threat and one of the most athletic QBs you will find in the state regardless of class. He did a nice job with his decision making and knowing when to take off and when to stand in the pocket and find the open man. Made nice throws, including some nice deep balls.

[player_tooltip player_id='1251169' first='Tavren' last='Williams'] 2027 QB North Point
- Another young QB who is an athletic playmaker who is still developing his skills. Williams (6'0" 175) showed great running ability and a strong arm with some nice touch and accuracy on his passes. He looks like he will be tough to keep off the field as an offensive weapon as a slash type player that can be used as a receiver, in the run game and special teams. Good speed, quickness and is elusive. A player to watch closely the next few years.
