DJ has had a great spring and you can see how he has matured and keeps improving his skills and game. He's also improved his strength and is an all around better football player after an outstanding freshman varsity season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1311648' first='Demetrius' last='Thompson'] 2026 DE Clayton
- One of the top under the radar EDGE prospects in the 20226 class. Thompson (6'3" 205) is a good looking athlete who also saw some time at receiver for his team on offense. He has a good first step and gets up field quickly using good body control and moves to make plays. Demetrius recorded 55 tackles and 13 sacks as a sophomore. Look for even better production in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='1128416' first='Ke'mell' last='Salone'] 2026 DE Lutheran North
- Salone (6'2" 220) was one of the most impressive players at the camp regardless of position. He's a versatile football player who besides holding down one DE spot and being very active and productive also plays RB and TE for the Crusaders. He was a load carrying the ball using the same good burst of speed and explosion to hit the hole and make positive yards after contact. At DE he is quick, fast and physical as a playmaker and looks poised for a breakout season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1311650' first='Jamont' last='Brooks'] 2026 EDGE Parkway West
- Brooks (6'2" 215) was one of the best young edge/DEs I watched play in person last season. He has the physical tools with his size, speed and athleticism, and gave opposing offensive linemen trouble. Jamont finished his sophomore season with 77 total tackles and looks like he continued to improve his pass rushing skills at the camp. He's a player to watch to see if he takes that next step as a prospect.
