Boston College Camp 6/2/24: Standout's- Part 1.

The first Boston College Football Camp of the 2024 summer was held on June 2, 2024. The camp provided a positive learning experience for all participants. The Boston College Coaching Staff instructed each camper the way Boston College players are coached: individually and professionally, with a focus on fundamentals, safety, and good sportsmanship. The following prospects caught my attention as they performed in front of the coaching staff. This report will be done in a two-part series. This is part 1.    6'2| 180lbs | Class of 2027 | Safety | Catholic Memorial HS, MA | 14 years old| Jacksontuck9@gmail.com | 8572719493   [player_tooltip player_id='943947' first='Jackson' last='Tucker'] was measured at 6'1" in height and weighed 182 pounds. During testing, he was measured with an arm length of 33 and a hand size of 9. He recorded an 9-foot 2-inch Broad jump and a 5.01 & 5.04 40-yard sprint test. His insticts were on full display. He has obvious quickness in his skill set that doesnt relate in his current vertical speed. During drills he stood out with fluid athletic movement. He has time to continue developing and will need to in his overall speed. He is projected to be a Div 1 prospect by the BC staff who gave him a verbal offer after his performance at the camp. He is currently ranked as out # 1 DB in the class of 2027 in New England.     God 1st/ Athlete / Marshfield MA/ Milton Academy 26' next fall/ Varsity CB/ 6'1 185/ 40 yd dash: 4.68-BC camp 6/2/24 / 818-505-4334 / Coach: @Scottyprince10   [player_tooltip player_id='385472' first='Giovanni' last='Joseph'] measured 6'0" and weighed 176 pounds. During testing, he recorded a 4.68 40 time. His quickness and speed were obvious during competition periods. He is a reclass prospect who was previously graded high as a class of 2025 prospect and will now be added to the rankings as a class of 2026 prospect in July/August 2024. He will attend Milton Academy in Massachusetts in the fall of 2024.     Choate Rosemary Hall 2025 || New Canaan High School CT 2024 || OLB || 6'4” 215 || High Honor Roll || email charlie.e.oconnor@gmail.com   [player_tooltip player_id='1253358' first='Charlie' last='O'Connor'] was 6'3" in height and weighed 209 pounds. During testing, he was measured with the following: arm length = 31.5, Hand size = 9. He recorded a 10 foot 2-inch Broad jump and a 4.84 40-yard time. He was active throughout the camp and showed why he is a player who's constantly around the ball. Good knee bend. Can match up with most offensive players. He is a reclass transfer from New Canaan High School in Connecticut and will attend Choate Rosemary Hall in Fall 2024.         | 2025 | TE/DE/OT | 6'5 | 265 lbs | 80 in. Wingspan | Weighted Average: 89.82 |   [player_tooltip player_id='1011747' first='JD' last='Rayner'] was 6'4" in height and weighed 268 pounds. During testing, he was measured with an arm length of 34 and a hand size of 9.5. He recorded an 8-foot 4-inch Broad jump but did not test in the 40-yard sprint test. His ability to bend was obvious during drill periods. He has a very good frame that pops with low pad level he delivers each rep. He is currently ranked as the #9 DL in the class of 2025 in New England and has IVY league and Group of 5 offers.     [player_tooltip player_id='498288' first='Jordan' last='Duke'] was measured at 5'11" in height and weighed 209 pounds. During testing, he was measured with an arm length of 32 and a hand size of 9.5. He recorded a 9-foot 3-inch broad jump and a 4.66 & 4.73 40-yard sprint test. He moves really well and fluidly. He is athletic and when he performs, he draws immediate attention to his skill set. Has a very compact, athletic, muscular frame. He will be added to our updated rankings for class of 2025 and should be graded high after his performance at the camp.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">OUTSIDE NEW ENGLAND STANDOUTS:</h2>    Andrew Pellicciotta = He was electric during the camp. He was observed making plays during team competition, and his skill set was attractive.     Herlin Perry Jr. = Performed really well as he usually does in a live setting. He covered well throughout the camp and definitely displayed why he has the recent offers that he has from Div 1 schools.     Jake Bauer - His speed was an attraction and it popped during drills and competition periods. He recorded a 4.52 40 yrd time when tested at the start of the camp.
