Boston College Camp 6/2/24: Standout's- Part 2.

<p>The first Boston College Football Camp of the 2024 summer was held on June 2, 2024. The camp provided a positive learning experience for all participants. The Boston College Coaching Staff instructed each camper the way Boston College players are coached: individually and professionally, with a focus on fundamentals, safety, and good sportsmanship. The following prospects caught my attention as they performed in front of the coaching staff. <strong>This is part 2</strong> <strong>of a 2 part series.</strong></p>    <p class="text-gray-700">"McNeil" is another prospect who attended the camp after earning an offer from the previous BC Staff in 2023. He has slowly gained national attention and has power 4 offers that continue to accumulate. His performance on the day confirmed why so many schools are taking interest in his skills. He has put in some work in the gym and has grown in height from my last viewing of him. His frame is solid and looks the part. His verified testing numbers were as follows: Height- 6'3", Weight- 196, Arm size- 33.5, Hand size- 10, Broad jump- 9 foot 10 inches, 40 time- 4.95.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">"Lopez" is a prospect who attended the camp after earning an offer from the previous BC Staff in 2023. His versatility drew attention during the camp., He was observed taking reps at both quarterback and Wide receiver. He showcased his athleticism and did a very good job at WR while appearing to be a natural that could be developed into a highly productive college receiver. He is inexperienced in getting off-press man coverages, but overall, he confirmed his D1 athleticism. He also had some impressive throws at QB during the competition period. His verified testing numbers were as follows: Height- 6'4", Weight- 181, Arm size- 31, Hand size- 9.5, Broad jump- 9 foot 3 inches, 40 time- 4.72. During testing, he was measured with an arm length of 31.5 and a hand size of 9.5. He recorded a 7-foot Broad jump and a 5.46 & 5.50 40-yard sprint test. He attended the camp after earning a recent verbal offer from the University of Duke staff that attended his show day performance at his school on May 15, 2024. He is a lean prospect who is also powerful and it was on full display. He dominated the competition in the 7v7 period with three interceptions, which I counted before I moved my eyes to another area of the camp. Bronson has very good instincts, ball skills, and field vision while playing free safety. He was always in a position to make a play on the ball. He displayed some ball-hawking abilities to his skill set. He has a compact frame. He was measured at 5'9"″ in height and weighed 196 pounds. During testing, "Bronson" was measured with an arm length of 30 and a hand size of 9. He recorded a 9-foot 5.5 inch Broad jump and a 4.77 & 4.81 40-yard sprint test. During testing, he was measured with an arm length of 31.5 and a hand size of 9.5. He recorded a 9-foot 10-inch Broad jump and a 4.77 & 4.81 40-yard sprint test. He is an active player who shows good movement. He displayed quick feet during the drill period. He showed his ability to cover well in competition periods, and his instincts popped repeatedly. He is a new player not known to me prior to this event. He caught my attention during the drill period. A Div 1 Coach I was standing next to also took notice of his skills while he performed. He moved fluidly through all drill stations with good quickness and decent speed for a rising sophomore. "Adams" is a rising sophomore who should continue to develop well in his school program.
