This is a team that you will want to keep an eye on this fall as they have many good players throughout their rosters even beyond those who attended the combine. You can follow Albemarle on their X Account @AhsPats and their Hudl page
Brayden caught my eye in the QB drills at the combine. He throws an accurate ball and can vary the speed of the throw to get it to his receiver quickly with good zip, or he can also add some air under the throw and lead a receiver to his spot. His film shows him being able to stay patient in the pocket to allow his routes to develop, and he can get outside of the pocket and throw on the run. He has a great opportunity to improve his game as Albemarle boasts a great receiving core.
Highlights
Yuri is a name that you will learn over the next few seasons. He is a competitor who wants to get better each rep and constantly looks for coaching on his technique. He has a mix of speed, quickness, and power that he can utilize in his pass rush. If you view his Hudl film, you will see that he can also hold the line and defend the run. There is a lot of upside to Yuri’s game.
Highlights
Isaiah is one of our top-ranked players for the class of 2026. Turn on his film and you will quickly see he is a playmaker. He can run the full route tree and displays very good foot quickness and change of direction that allows him to create separation, and he is an agile runner after the catch.
Highlights
I recently covered Joshua in an article that you will want to read. He has versatility at the LB position to play as a stacked LB or as an EDGE. He did not disappoint at the combine displaying the awareness in Pass Coverage that I noted in my previous article. He earned himself an opportunity to compete at Ferrum College who was in attendance at the combine which he recently attended.
Highlights
I really liked what I saw out of Xzaivon at the combine, and he is a quality player in Albemarle’s receiving room. He is a solid route runner with good hands. He has good foot speed as a ball carrier making him a big play waiting to happen. He also has some QB experience, but WR is his future. As defenses will focus on Albemarle’s other WRs, watch for Xzaivon to step up and be a reliable target for them this season.
Highlights
Speed, quickness, and explosiveness are the defining attributes of Jordan’s game. He is a versatile LB who can play as a stacked LB or on the EDGE. He makes quick reads and comes downhill fast, creating explosiveness at the point of attack and driving through the ball carrier. I don’t see any offers for Jordan, but he has the tools to play at the next level.
We ranked Jalen as the 41st RB in the class of ’25. He shows good agility and short-area quickness paired with good vision. He can quickly juke and get out of a tackle and then quickly accelerate to full speed. He runs with good balance and physical toughness, and you can trust him to create positive yards.
