Yesterday's piece on the top sleepers in Division II was a success and we decided to run it back & now dig into Division III. Keep in mind, that some of the prospects listed have FBS-level potential, while others could be steals for someone on the lower levels of college football. Regardless of their level of play, each guy has potential for the next level.

Crowley

DE: Ke'Shawn Morris, 6'3" 230, 2025

A highly-motored true five-technique with an effective push-pull move and extremely disruptive tendencies in the run game. Morris can bend around the edge, stick his foot in the dirt & retrace inside, and has no issues getting skinny on inside twists.

DB: Tamondre Bowie, 6' 190, 2025

Bowie plays right now as an outside linebacker, however, he projects as a strong safety at the next level. He's fearless filling inside the box, shows above-average ball skills, he's got a quick trigger when reading run and plays with good instincts in zone coverage.

Mansfield

WR: [player_tooltip player_id='1421241' first='Jacobe' last='Hayes'], 5'10" 160, 2025

A burner who can take the top off a two-high shell, he's slippery with the football in his hands and has the creativity to make something happen with little help. He's got excellent vision to spot cutback lanes, explosive change of direction, and shows strong hands going over the middle of the field.

Mansfield Lake Ridge

QB: Kennen Miller, 5'11" 185, 2026

With the pocket condensing, Miller climbs with his eyes downfield, he squares his shoulders to his target when throwing on the run, and has natural touch on throws of twenty-five yards plus. He's got terrific adlib skills against free-rushers, consistent ball placement on short-intermediate throws and can alter his arm slot for awkward window throws.

Mansfield Legacy

LB: [player_tooltip player_id='1421200' first='Jaden' last='Manning'], 6'1" 220, 2025

A physical presence on both sides of the ball. Manning has good burst, a strong lower-half-to-muscle past arm tackles, and excellent tracking speed on defense. He's got the quickness to slip first-level blocks, excellent balance, and looks to smack opposing ball carriers on contact.

DB: Landon Isbell, 6' 180, 2025

A rangy safety prospect with excellent tracking ability and natural ball skills. Landon can cover a ton of ground while the football is in the air, he uses the sideline as a weapon when tackling on the perimeter and could see a big jump in production with a full slate of games under him in 2024.

LB: Xander Walker, 6'4" 230, 2025

Walker has the size of a high-level Division One linebacker prospect. On tape, he plays a patient brand of football, reading his keys before jumping the gun, he's always closing on ball carriers and has the body control to make tough 1 on 1 tackles in space. His effort on tape is off the charts as well.

North Crowley

QB: Chris Jimerson, 5'11" 170, 2025

A freaky athlete at the quarterback position with the speed to outrun angles (10.7 100 meters). Chris is a dynamic runner who will make you pay if you don't set the edge, he can easily add zip for tight window intermediate throws and is an extremely productive passer on the scramble drill

DB: [player_tooltip player_id='1622470' first='Thomas' last='Cook Jr.'], 6'1" 170, 2026

A longer corner with great recovery speed, smooth mirror skills, and consistently stays over the top of wideouts in zone coverage. He can fight off perimeter blocks and provide run support, he's quite physical in press coverage and does a good job not letting a wide receiver get into his blind spot.

Weatherford

TE: Cutter Kennedy, 6'5" 220, 2027

There's not a ton of tape on Cutter, but I did like what I saw in the short sample size. He played some quarterback last fall, but at tight end, he's got great size for the position, he's tough, has natural athleticism, and a high football IQ.
