Who are some impressive 2027 prospects who recently earned new offers?

Prep Redzone has the details...

TK Cunningham - EDGE - Grayson

One of the fastest-rising 2027 prospects in Georgia, Cunningham will be back in the peach-state for the upcoming 2024 season and will be suiting up for the powerful Grayson Rams. At 6-foot-5 230-pounds, Cunningham brings a long frame, explosiveness off the snap, and the ability to make a play in the backfield. He only played in four games last year for a team in Colorado but made three sacks, seven TFLs and one fumble recovery. He can shed blocks and attack the quarterback, making him one of the more promising pass-rushers in Gwinnett County for the 2027 class. He'll be playing for a fantastic defensive staff with the Rams who will only make him a better player over the next three years. The talent is easy to see and he's recently earned new offers from Auburn, Ohio State, Oklahoma, among others this month. His recruitment is taking off, and he's bound for a big rankings boost in the next 2027 Prep Redzone update.

Emerson “Em” Lewis - ATH - Calvary Day

An impressive young defensive back from Savannah out of Calvary Day, Lewis is a long, athletic 5-foot-11 185-pound cornerback with strong instincts for his age. He played with a lot of confidence last year and showed he can play on an island, taking on opposing receivers in single coverage. He shows quick feet, fluid hips and the ability to run with receivers down the field. He also shows promise as a run defender, reacting quickly against the run and getting downhill to make a big tackle on the ball-carrier behind the line of scrimmage. His natural talent, length, and high ceiling were on full display last year, and now his recruitment is starting to pick up some as he recently earned a new offer from the SMU Mustangs. He plays the ball well in the air, closes well on the receiver, and should improve more and more over the next three years. Look for more offers to start coming his way as well next year and beyond.

[player_tooltip player_id='263790' first='Hudson' last='Nix'] - LB - Temple

A young linebacker on the rise in West Georgia, Nix is a well-rounded athlete who has shown a lot of promise at linebacker so far in his career. At 6-foot-1 200-pounds, Nix has really good size for his age and will only get bigger and stronger over time as he progresses through high school. He's physically gifted for his age and brings a high IQ to the middle of Temple's defense. He reads the play well, reacts quickly, and knows how to wrap up properly. He plays with a physical style of play who can take on blocks, fight off offensive linemen, and make a play on the ball-carrier. He's a sure-tackling defender and is bound for a big sophomore season in 2024. He's one of the top 2027 linebackers in the area who is already flashing D1 potential. He's a prospect on the rise that could be a big name across the state in the 2027 class sooner than later.
