The 6’0 200 Nix has that old school LB mentality about him. Physical with a nose for the football, he had 135 TT this Fall for the Tigers with 10 TFL. He missed his freshman season after getting injured in the opening game but put that time to good use in the weight room where he has already hit the benchmark 300 PC max.
Outlook: Nix has a high football IQ that comes from being a coaches son and add to that the natural physical and mental traits of a hard hitting LB. Already a Top 20 LB prospect in the ’27 Class, a good off season will catch the eye of some staffs.

Trending very close to that 6-foot mark, Nix is another Linebacker I saw multiple times last year as a seventh-grader. Physically he’s right there with many of the top Linebacker prospects in the state at this level. Has improved flexibility and overall quickness a ton over the last few months. Is also starting to get significantly stronger, boasting a squat of 345-pounds heading into his eighth-grade season. He’s also the son of a high school coach, so he possesses a lot of knowledge about the game and situational play. On top of his football ability, also one of the best baseball prospects in the state of Georgia. He’s a power-hitter that can play Outfield, Third Base, Catcher and even Pitcher if called upon.
