<p></p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Carrington finished the season 7 intercepts and 50+ tackles, playing from both cornerback and safety. He excels in zone coverage and attacks the ball in the air. He's strong in run support and disrupts bubble screen showing some impressive read and react ability. Carrington contributes on special teams too as the return man. With the ball in his hands, he'll make the offense pay after a turnover. He's patient in coverage and trusts his eyes instead of jumping routes. His performance also earned him team defensive player of he year. Some of his interceptions are high light plays, he does good job of high pointing the ball and coming down with difficult catches. Along with the interceptions he had 4 fumble recoveries giving him11 take aways on the season, he took one fumble recovery back for a touchdown. In the run game he meets ball carriers within the first 5 yards of the line of scrimmage taking away the opportunity for them to build momentum downhill. Over the past two years he's had 10 interceptions and 90+ tackles, expect for his production to at least remain the same or be even more of an impact defensively. From his safety position he's the umbrella for that defense, the deepest man, driving on the ball when it's in the air. He had 4 interceptions with 70 return yards, offensively he had 20 receptions and 3 touchdowns.
