As college camps and showcases provide rising prospects the chance to become top recruiters, National Scout Drew Johnson has been on the move to track down those who deserve the recognition for their play. Let's get into some of the top performers from this spring/summer who have locked in notable offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='826575' first='Jamar' last='Malone'] | QB | 2025 | IMG | @jamar1malone

Malone has been listed as a high rated 2025 prospect with a 6-3, 205-pound frame at the QB position. This kid has been on the move this offseason with a few college stops on a bus tour trip. Malone stands tall in the pocket with solid footwork mechanics and a strong arm. Has major offers from Miami, Louisville, Arizona, and more.

[player_tooltip player_id='827405' first='Cibastian' last='Broughton'] | QB | 2025 | Fleming Island | @cibastianb11

Successful off-season for Broughton who recently released his top four schools in mind for the next level (Syracuse, Tulane, Arkansas State, Akron). This kid is a 4.40 laser speed QB with good accuracy and production at the prep level. Recorded 3000+ total yards last season with 33 TDs to add. Interested to see where the rising senior chooses to make his next home.

[player_tooltip player_id='829339' first='Grant' last='Conner'] | QB | 2025 | Winter Park | @grant_conner3

The 6-4 rising senior QB made a case for one of the more accurate throwers I got eyes on during the 7v7 season. He's now carried that confidence into the spring where he shined in Winter Park's opening spring game. As noted, he's a slept-on riser who will get time to prepare more in the off-season before making his start this fall season. Natural release on the ball and delivers a nice deep ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='827385' first='Zander' last='Smith'] | QB | 2025 | Lakeland | @zander_smith15

Smith has received recent offers from Bowling Green, Fordham, and Cornell since the offseason. He's now a state champion who played his first season with the Lakeland Dreadnaughts as he threw for 1,801 yards with 23 touchdown passes. He's a strong-armed kid who has some time to work on timing and footwork to lock in some real deal college interest. No doubt, he has the size and look at 6-4, 200-pounds that colleges can work with.

[player_tooltip player_id='1022076' first='Blake' last='Johnson'] | QB | 2025 | Bartow | @blakejohnson_11

Fresh off a productive spring that led to eye-popping spring game stats, Johnson made his way to UAB to show off the work and confidence he has built heading into this new season. He always throws a nice ball but you can tell his game is coming together.

Salomon Georges | QB | 2025 | The First Academy | @SalomonJR17

Georges has made a recent move over to The First Academy where he will be with a few familiar pieces to work with. I got my eyes on Georges this off-season during the 7v7 period and he does not disappoint. He's an accurate QB who has displayed solid timing with his receivers. He can move an offense down the field with his deadly scrambling ability or accurate deep ball shots. Should see an uptick in college interest during the spring period.

Ethan Crossan | QB | 2025 | FBA | @ethan_crossan

Crossan nearly led the state in Class 1S for passing yards for juniors in the state. The 6-0, 190-pound sophomore has a decent frame and QB mechanics that he uses to make things happen and extend plays when needed. Don't sleep on the moves in the open field as Crossan has flashed the ability to be a scramble threat at the next level. Intelligent and talented QB that we will have eyes on moving into the off-season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1087990' first='Wells' last='Bettenhausen'] | QB | 2025 | Walton | @Wells_bett1

College coaches in need of an experienced 6-5, 225-pound QB prospect have to give this kid a look. Threw for nearly 3000 passing yards a season ago with 35 TDs to add. He gets it done on and off the field with a 3.6 GPA headed into his senior season. Has seen some college interest this offseason but expect to see an uptick with more eyes on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='749825' first='John' last='Angelo'] | QB | 2025 | Tarpon Springs | @John_Angelo_1

Just watched Angelo perform on a college bus tour for nine days. The QB House Midwest Retreat was most beneficial for kids like Angelo who has the college-ready frame and arm talent to lead some schools at the next level. He's received a couple of DIII offers with more interested coaches getting his information after two solid mega camp performances at Miami Ohio and UIndy. Plenty of time for this kid to continue working on his game for more exposure.
