Our final position group to break down in the 2025 class in Illinois is the offensive lineman. Ton of quality prospects throughout the state. We examine it in 2025 Film Evals: West Suburbs Offensive Lineman!

[player_tooltip player_id='1292060' first='Michael' last='O'Connell'] (Glenbard West – 6'7” 270)

O'Connell is a massive offensive tackle at 6'7" 270 pounds that can play on both sides of the line. Controls the defensive lineman with his hands whether in the run or pass game. Great length not letting them get in his body. Seals well. Good athlete with a basketball background which just goes to show you the athleticism at play here.

[player_tooltip player_id='831101' first='Sam' last='Stec'] (Nazareth – 6'2” 260)

Stec really impressed on tape. The 6'2" 260 pound lineman played mostly left tackle. Due to his lack of ideal heigh for that position he might have to kick inside to guard where he would be a monster! Nasty in both the run and pass game. LPuts guys on the ground. Seals well and plays with grit. Quality athlete with quick footwork. Excelled against good competition.

[player_tooltip player_id='690155' first='Ryder' last='McMurray'] (Hinsdale South – 6'3” 275)

McMurray is a right tackle that has a strong and stocky build at 6'3". Very physical player that is ideal at right tackle or even guard because of how well he moves guys in the run game. Seals and is decent in pass pro.

[player_tooltip player_id='830859' first='Hunter' last='Gale'] (Rock Falls – 6'5” 315)

Gale is a big and burly 6'5" 315 left tackle. The big bodied offensive lineman moves guys in the run game and shows flashes in pass pro. Also plays defensive tackle some as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='832151' first='Thomas' last='Klos'] (Fenton – 6'2” 295)

This right guard had quite a few pancakes in the tape we saw. Solid size on the interior where he moves bodies and gets guys on the ground. Blocks well in pass protection in a telephone booth.

[player_tooltip player_id='437629' first='Austin' last='Roush'] (Naperville North – 6'3” 250)

Like what we see out of this center/left guard. Anchors at a high level in pass pro. Technichian on the interior and is a solid athlete overall. The size plays well on the inside.

[player_tooltip player_id='330456' first='Ryan' last='Mascari'] (Neuqua Valley – 6'4” 230)

Like the athleticism at 6'4" as a tackle. Solid frame combined with good technique and can get to the second level.

JC Hayes (Montini – 6'2” 251)

Left tackle that might have to slide into guard. Good build and strength. Seals well to open holes and is a mauler in the run game. Good technique.

[player_tooltip player_id='538361' first='John' last='Costello'] (Benet – 6'1” 240)

Costello is a left guard that plays with good technique. Solid in pass pro. Blocks well on the move and is very mobile pulling in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='819680' first='Mohammed' last='Hanif'] (South Elgin – 5'10” 250)

Hanif is a right guard that is only 5'10" which will limit him at the next level, but makes up for it with his strong and stocky build. Pass blocks well in a telephone booth with good technique and can also play some center.

[player_tooltip player_id='331520' first='Kaiden' last='Morris'] (Rochelle – 6'2” 225)

Morris is a 6'2" guard that plays with a nastiness to his game. Blocks very well on the move. Good pulling and being the lead blocker opening holes at the second level.

[player_tooltip player_id='330448' first='Joseph' last='Pettit'] (Geneva – 5'11” 235)

This Geneva guard plays on both sides of the line. On the offensive line he is a guard that brings quickness on the interior, moves well in space, and blocks on the move. Defensively he pursues the ball with good speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292704' first='Dylan' last='Bradford'] (Glenbard North – 6'2” 280)

Bradford is a 6'2" prospect that plays right tackle and left guard. Projection is best at the guard spot where he is a decent puller and has flashes in pass pro in a telephone booth.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292825' first='Ted' last='Dost'] (Glenbard North – 6'4” 343)

Massive right tackle from Glenbrook North that seals ok on the edge and can turn defenders in the run game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292846' first='Will' last='Anthony'] (Geneva – 6'4” 240)

Anthony is a 6'4" left tackle that might be better suited on the right side of the line. Long and lean frame which he will need to add more bulk on but there is some projection there. Raw strength is definitely shown.
